I love CD Project Red and Cyberpunk 2077 could be the better game (it will be most likely), but it isn't going to outsell RDR2.
@Godmars290
Stop bullying me its just wishful thinking. lol
After FFX through XV I'm convinced that Square likes plot holes and sloppy writing. I wouldn't want a sequel though especially not one based on fan theories. As for wrapping things up Square does like to put out unnecessary sequels (that just add more questions than answers)
No movie (they're all so bad), but a remake and fix up those ugly plot holes and get rid of that awful plot twist. Or maybe just a prequel with Laguna and co
Remember when Square could put out two mainstream FF titles (non mmos) in a generation along with other I.Ps? Pepperidge Farms remembers

Square's production teams are called Business Divisions...FFXV was developed by Business Division 2 for the most part. Business Division 1 - 4 are the main teams that work on the Final Fantasy franchise.

I didn't say it was good, but it did follow that FF format. haha
Concept wise it was as "Final Fantasy" as they come. Four warriors (of the light) sent out on a journey to restore the power to the kingdom.
Its ust too bad the game itself didn't live up to it's potential.
2 was the weakest entry (that's count the reboot title as well) You mussed out on one of the greatest action games of all time, Devil May Cry 3.
That's completely different. Disney wanted their characters for their streaming service. Disney stepped out the gaming realm a few years back (which is why different publishers obtain certain brands I.e Sony with Spider-Man and EA with Star Wars.
Square has 11 production teams, 4 of those teams work on FF titles, but that isn't their problem though. They can't manage time and resources correctly how many years did Square waste on two engines, one that was eventually scrapped.
Man, I wish Tri-ace could develop a good SO title again... the last two were lacking it.
Don't let a inexperienced team who's last big project was an average multiplayer add on work on a new entry in one of your biggest I.Ps
You didn't play Nier Automata? One of the best titles Square has published in the last decade.
Why is that? What does one have to do with the other.
If you're talking about Tabata, he has a new team and game in development.
How would you rank along side the first title?
Mr_Commander
Well, you do know it's a Square Enix title right? The game is good except for the lack of character interaction between the eight leads which was odd design/ narrative choice
What is that?
If you think Cyberpunk is just some generic fps you're not playing attention and probably never played a CD Project Red title before. CD Project Red has easily become one of the best rpg developers in the past two generations of gaming.
