You're not too far off. The orginal Xbox dropped in 2001 and the 360 was released in 2005. I never realised they came out so close together.
Hopefully, a smoother development cycle than the likes of VS.XIII/ XV. Not pointing any fingers but that game went through a lit of hiccups.
While I do have my complaints, I do hope Square does decide to turn it into a series though. Despite its short comings it is the best title from Square in the last ten years.
I think MS owns the rights to both ips
Yes please!
The first one was one of the best jrpgs to come out last gen.
Does Microsoft own the rights to Lost Odyssey? I would love to see a remaster of it on the Switch and PS4
I know he's not crazy about Sony, but I hope it's a multiplat. Just don't be a mobile game
@michellelynn0976
It's not that big of a deal to lie about playing a video game. I'd be more than happy to post my friend code that shows my activity log.
Those skits that you have to go out of your way to obtain? It was a odd and a weak way for the characters to interact with other. It could of been stronger if their was a overall narrative like their previous game (Bravely Default). It's a tedious process that you have to go through that's never fully realized.
This year was odd I didn't play any new crpg/ wrpgs this year. Do you have any recommendations?
Are you new to RPGs? It's a good game, but it has a lot of flaws.
Really? It's not even one of Square's best titles.
I really enjoyed Octopath Traveler, bit I really find hard to call it the best of RPG of the year. Mainly doe to odd choice/ lack of character interactions between the eight characters. I loved the 16 bit look and the gameplay though. The Radiant Historia port or DQ XI would of been my number one choice though.
MGSV was a disappointment, but aside from that one title he has an excellent track record. This is coming from someone who didn't care for MGS4 and MGS5.
Oh, you're right. That is odd maybe they meant remake? Honestly, why would anyone want a remake of X-2 though.
It wouldn't be a remaster though considering the game doesn't exist.
Where's the logic in that? Consider how much those shallow Call of Duty games sell.
@Godmars290
All jokes aside I do agree with you though. At this point right expecting a fully finished title from Square is too much. I think the scope of the FFVII remake is too much and they'll probably run into similar issues as FFXV development (with the exception of building a new engine)
FFXI does not take place in Ivalice.
Only FF Tactics, FFXIIRW (let's forget about that one though), FF Tactics Advance 1&2 and Vagrant Story takes place in Ivalice. There's a lot to cover with the Ivalice world i.e the fall of magicite and the Moogles dying out (which were responsible for the tech in FFXII)
@lollord
Really? I know they booted Cyber Connect and decided to develop in house now, but that I thought the was only issue so far.
