I'm 50/50 on the remakes. My main reason being that I was considering buying tomb raider DE at the weekend which I passed on a year ago, but lack of games on ps4 meant I wanted something else to do. It would have cost me upto £40 from GAME(uk). But just before I was about to go and buy it, I found out that the ps3 version would be given away for free this month! Same gameplay on both versions just better visuals obviously on ps4.

If you already own the game then no. I don't belive that the cost matches the need. It's a bit like the recent reboot of tomb raider. If u never owned it, then it's well worth getting it(PS4). But at the same time it's not though as it's due for free release to ps+ members on the ps3 from tomorrow(EU). The same could happen with gta5. They announce it and then release, barely a month later they give away the pervious version
@Ketzicorn - I got the RROD 8 or 9 times and I can tell you the X1 a solid console.

While I agree that this good news not only for MS, but Sony as well as it keeps competition going(which is cool for gamers) I do wonder how much financially this has cost MS? After all, they have paid for your game.

I put my account on my daughters tablet and share it between my home and her mothers without issue (uk). But then, she's only 7 and watches cartoons (kids side only). If he guy let it to a so called friend whom lives in basically another country then it's his own fault

Maybe I'm reading into this the wrong way(correct me if I'm wrong), but...... it sounds like, it sort of aiming to be like a bit like Boarderlands, where you can play the game as a SP and/or have your mates join up with you whilst your playing through it, but having it online instead. would that be about right??
