Microtransactions are the bane of modern gaming and serve no purpose at all in full retail priced games. Items like, BF4's shortcuts or AC4's so called Time Saver Packs shouldn't even be considered by anyone. Simple because it's possible to do those with just a bit of time playing, why part with good money?

I am so hoping that eve Valkyrie isn't going to be solely a VR headset exclusive title only. Most ppl won't be able to afford a headset upon launch. And personally, I would like to see more space combat games brought over to consoles.
If you have Ps+ then I personally would wait till a month after it's released and you may end up with a free copy of TLOU for ps3. That's what happened with Tomb Raider.
I beg to differ there mate. I have Mercenary Kings, Zen Pinball, Warframe, Dead Nation, Blacklight, DC Universe, Contrast, Don't Starve, Outlast, War Thunder and Resogun already installed on my system. That's 12 free games so far and counting. To say that the PS4 doesn't have a lot of free games is just wrong.

Do we need re-masters of old games? Well I was tempted to go and buy tomb raider the other month as I missed out on it first time round. But just before I went to buy it, Sony put it out for free on PS+!!! So did the game on my ps3 instead and later borrowed my mates ps4 version to see the difference. Nice visual upgrade def, but worth the price, def not. My advice is, if you have both ps3 and PS4 along with a PS+ package then wait till a month after the remastered version is out and you may ...
@SpringHeeledJack That's so true about over pricing. Also, if you find a game on the website marked at say £45, the store will sell it for £50. Yet if ask them to sell it to you at the internet price...... then...... well you can guess the response you get.

I had a chance to play TF the other day on my mates xb1. I said to my mate that there was better AI back in the day when we were playing Timesplitters 2 MP on our ps2's than what was in TF. My mate agreed with me on that, even though he tried to use the excuse of 'they're only there to help out the crappier players'!!!!

Not every one has that kind of time. Gamers come from all walks of life. Not all of us are just kids going to school. Some are parents, some go to college & work, etc..

My point is, you can unlock these items (in-game)without the need for paying for them which is quite frankly absured. What was the point (for example) honestly in a Time Saver Pack ...
