Yet another doom n gloom article claiming that this is the end of Sony. Serious question here I'm going ask, if MS offered a service that's similar in everyway to PSNow, does anyone belive that the rental prices will be anymore different? I can understand people's frustration over the pricing issue as even I feel it's too high. But putting blame for pricing solely at Sony's feet is just daft. Game devs and publishers have the power and the means to set prices on the stores. Sony only gets a small fraction of whatever we pay, whilst the rest goes back to devs and publishers.
@nextlevel, you forgot about the "illumi-room" feature. Another big promise that fell flat.

What's the big deal with this, seriously. 1). PsNow is an optional service. Your not being forced to use it! 2). Sony DO NOT set the pricing, publisher and devs set the price & 3). It's still in BETA and could chance once it's been released.

They have the finances to throw around cash like confetti on advertisement and marketing, whilst beliving that by just doing that they will reap back what they have put in of their own money and that of shareholders plus more. There is a cheap and easy solution to solving your battery issues ppl, it's called a USB extension cable.
Personally I found the texture and models rather bland on the ps4. The gun I was using looked more like a plastic toy rifle, the cop cars were like they came from a ps2 game, and the char models were terrible.
When a game reaches beta it means it practically finished. So don't expect any improvement over what's been shown already. If it was still in alpha they could of improved it graphically.
I personally thought that some of the models and textures were worse than in bf4! The cop cars look last gen and char models are awful
I don't feel that this will be of any really major advantage to end user (gamers), because every time I see one of these articles they always state that by dropping kinect "DEVS" will see the advantage the most. Yeah it does help devs to do a bit more with their coding and so forth, but they still have to make games that will have to make do with 10% less power due to home systems still having kinect requirements.
X-platform has already been done with PC and PS3. Portal 2 being the only one I know of from last gen. We need more :D

The game won't be out for nearly the best part of a year from now and already someone wants to make speculation about how its going to turn out. Why not just wait until near release when people can get a chance to play it hands on before giving an opinion on it.
