Agree with melon on pricing. Been a gamer since late 79 and brought mega drive (first paid console with own money) and games back then we're £40 and we all said it was way to much but accepted it for new titles like desert strike etc. Now, £50 is around average price with places like GAME charging £5 more for standard editions

Ya know this whole x-play thing kinda reminds me of that viral vid of a bully and a fat kid at school. The bully (Beth) keeps taughting the fat kid (Sony). So the fat kid gives the bully the fight that he so badly wanted........ By slam dunking the bully down (here's your x-play you asked for) and leaving him to go staggering off wondering WTF just happened lol

I'm fairly sure that Sony filled for a patent that had moves with sticks on them a few months ago. Hopefully we see something from it because I can agree with there. Star Trek Bridge crew made great use of the moves, same with job sim. However....... using them in skyrim is a lot more difficult.
The Aim is the closest thing they have atm and with Firewall Zero Hour, it doesn't just work. It works 'REALLY' well.
Maybe Sony is already working with Gearbox to im...

Hope they put in Aim controller support for BL2. They mentioned about using the move controllers and headtracking whilst in a vehicle, and no doubt it will have DS4 support from the get go, but Aim would make it a absolute must have, just like firewall zero hour

I'm enjoying this game way more than I expected to. Platforms aren't my usual thing, however astrobot offers a new and unique way to play and interact within the environment. Well deserved score.

Totally agree with you about people's collections being of historical value. Whilst quite possibly not as valuable ££ wise right now or in the very near future (5-10 yrs) , but in a hundred years or more these collections and games will be given similar treatment to how we do now with books, documents, ancient scripts, cave wall painting etc etc. It's how we have told stories or recreated historical events. So it's a natural evolution.

The hardest part of trying to convince others to buy VR, is that, it's harder to convey the sense of scale you get. What to many seem like simple basic games take on a whole new life within VR and is best experienced. VR is here to stay without a doubt. Its just getting more people to try it first.
A good list of titles are given here. Have most of them except 3. Giving AstroBot a go atm and very impressive. Kind of reminds me a little of how I felt when I first played Mario 64 ...

Wow. The only thing more shocking other than the score he gave, is how p### poorly written this article is. Before he has even began he says he has "low expectations". Mentions about the controls, and how bad they are, but doesn't say how or what makes them bad. Just that they are bad. No real mention of adjustment to the controls via options. Why not mention other factors that are important in a game? Like options config settings? Or sound effects of the chopper and weapons? Ar...

Jesus christ can we just been done with all this crossplay BS. Sony have been using this feature for years now and it's always been a secondary feature. Just because a "free to play" game is using the feature, does not mean in anyway whatsoever that suddenly next gen every game or dev is going to be using it. Its all a marketing tactic.
Psynoix dropped it completely, months after they said it could be done between consoles, but now its "apparently" not going t...

With yet another new HMD being developed for the VR Market, it goes to show, that VR is here and its here to stay.

First Bethesda come out and say they won't be doing crossplay after making an issue of it, then pysonix with rocket league.
After all the horse s### flinging around, this is how it all ends LMAO. I said that in 1 years time it would be a mute point among gamers. Roll on the next big "make believe" issue for gamers to argue about.

No it just sounds big on paper. We live on a bloody tiny little island for god sakes and it's only details from one shop chain out of many here, that retail the xbox. We are not in US. Believe me, that "growth" is tiny to what you are expecting. Example would be Argos sell 3000 per month. A 20% increase is only 600.

I'm hoping that GAME stores in the UK do the same free preorder deal they did with FO4 for FO76. We all got given a free bobblehead figure

”War game of the year"? WTF? Are we now seriously coming up with silly title awards name's for the sake of sounding "modern and cool, oh and God knows who came up with this BS, 'woke'"? GTFO
