Seems more likely its either the American and/or the Iranian government throttling back Internet access than the it being EA.

Shame. You missed out on some true classics from back in the day. Ps2 era was incredible though especially like others have said SSX series. But even up till last gen they had some good titles like Mass effect 2. Since then though we've seen them become more and more greedy by being more interested with investors rather than the consumers.
EA no longer care about making great games like they use to. Games from the mega drive era like desert strike and all the way up towards the end of last game was when they cared about gaming. But since then we have seen them become more and more interested in shareholders and investors money pouring in than they are with customer satisfaction in their products. I'm actually glad to have seen their share prices have fallen in the past 12 months by almost half, as this could possibly force...

The motion control features are most used for psvr these days. Which is where its most useful.

Consoles have had the biggest contribution on gaming innovation than any other platform. Yes it all nice and good having huge amounts of RAM and VRAM and a powerful processor in your system.
However, having limitations on available resources has the effect of devs having to find new and more creative ways to achieve their goals. Most if not all dev tools used to this day to create the games and software we know and love came from talented programmers looking to push the envelope.
Pretty sure that a 'Nylon Pink' colour, Bethesda are using there.
Of course EA isn't going to let them make another KOTOR. It's a single player game and won't be making a billion a year like Fifa does. We all know this well enough by now.

Thing is though, most of the money only goes back to the publisher. Not the dev team. They have already been paid by the publisher for reaching whatever goals have been set out for them. This includes bonuses for reaching meta scores and releasing within the time window set for them. The publishers will now be clawing back their investment cash and more thanks to people like the this guy in the article.
