Epic games, Psynoix, Microsoft and Bethesda all were chasing that crossplay feature. Sony say "OK then" and all the above went quiet.
I have nothing against crossplay personally, hell, use crossplay on quite a few psvr titles like star trek bridge crew and rec room. But when the ones who were all noise about it suddenly back away and never mention it again or even hint that they will be implementing a feature that they were so adament about, then I believe they are the ones...

Yep, they did. And worse than that, they marked it up as being on "sale" @ a discounted price (from 3000 atom to the low, low cost of 2000 atom) the same day it got pushed on to the atom store
Crossplay again? Look, it was a talking worth mentioning for all of 5 minutes because certain other company's wanted to make Sony look bad for self publicity (oh look, we're talking about x play in our upcoming game, which is going to get trashed by gamers and reviewers alike, because it will draw attention to us). After Sony gave what most players wanted (Fortnite xplay) it died off and those that attacked were left with egg on their faces.
Whilst I agree a 2d version would be nice to have, I do feel that it would remove a lot of the magic (I.e. the ability to look around corners, see your own char on a screen, Interacting with environment etc etc) and charm that it has would be lost.
EA are finally starting to feel that sense of "pride and accomplishment" that they have been slowly edging towards these past few years. They got "woke", now let's hope they go "broke" lmao

Despite the many issue's which do plague this game, it's still been my most played game this year. I'm glad to see that the devs are aware of these issues especially with p2p servers (host drop anyone?) and have at the very least acknowledged that it needs fixing. Hopefully they can sort these problems out. Other than that though, it is the best VR title out there IMO.

Terrible numbers when compared to Fallout 4 which did over 5 million within its first week
Fallout 76 issues so far include a botched Beta running a mere few hours a day till release, aged game engine which should of been retired after fallout 4, lies concerning how much more graphical improvements had been done (16x the detail my arse), lack of in game story content (stripped back for MP), duffle bag controversy, personal details leaked online for the world to see), cheap offering of 500 atoms compensation which will barely get you a hat in-game, 4-6 months waiting for replacement...

I have neverout and it's def an interesting puzzle game. Limited movement is the only slight I have with it. But does remind me of the old movie Cube.
Bethesda have quite literally 'nuked' themselves with FO76. After seeing the prices of their "macro"transactions (yeah I said Marco) @2000 atoms/$20 for emoji Xmas overlay pics and now the idea of loot boxes/lunch boxes is just ridiculous.
I was a huge of Bethesda fan and put way to many hours into their versions of fallout. But I can't support them anymore.
Either this ($640 yet weaker than a switch!) android console is super 'dope'....... or he's just a complete 'dope'.
I'm betting more the latter than the former.

Have you ever tried to play a AAA title on nothing more than a tablet before? I tried it once with GTA VC. And my god, it was horrible to control!
If MS wants to go all out with this Xcloud of theirs, then they seriously need to think about how players are going to be able play.
