ACG was also using an external storage device when his system crashed out. Perhaps he could of waited till the console patch was released before trying it out as I hear that it's something then sony are already working towards resolving.
Edit: just seen another post and yes, there is a patch for external storage devices however it wasn't ready in time for reviewers consoles to use but will be available on launch day.
Well this is great news all round. Hopefully we can see other titles getting a boost up like this (looking at you NMS lol). Ordered up my adapter, however wasn't able to get a ps5 pre order in time.

Just looked up a 1tb drive M2 2230 and found it going for £235. Still slightly cheaper and much more easier to install if you just buy MS add on

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if it's at all possible to delete Astrobot after completing/finishing playing around with new controller features?
I know that it wouldn't free up a huge amount of space, perhaps 10-15gb, but can we reclaim that space?
You think having 350gb will be enough? Sorry but have to disagree there mate.
Here is an example, cod MW fully installed takes about 250gb, the next time a patch comes out it will require about 80 to 100gb amount of free space, just to install the patch. Think about that for a moment and let me know your thoughts.
I'm hopeful that with a patch or 2 applied to them, many of the current titles available for psvr will look vastly improved. Obviously still not to the same levels as what's going the TV, but much sharper looking with some improvement on draw distance.

It's either take a day one patch as the game still gets worked on after going GOLD. Or wait till properly after Xmas for a release and miss launch day of the PS5.

Anyone who's supports the idea that a price hike in games from so called AAA devs and publishers as being justifiable is an idiot.
These companies are already raking in millions upon millions of £'s every year whilst claiming games cost more to make, yet largely remain the same. And year on year those profits are increasing already. With a price hike and push towards digital format, which cuts out huge amounts of costs already, they'll make even more ludicrous amount...

Finished the story mode today and had the trophy glitch happen to me. Unable to unlock the completed story trophies. Hope this issue is fixed soon. Apparently only 7.9% of people finished on pilot rank (normal difficulty).
Better to have and not use, than not have and then need.
