Everyone was losing minds only last week over spider man being held back content with the avengers game with no price difference.
This week it's cool that content is being held back behind a pay wall for day 1 content, at a huge price difference, and people want to defend this!

Hiring new people won't help solve the problem. Better management and better work environment would help more this late into development. Last thing 343 needs to be doing is wasting away several months training up new staff. Better to use the time to improve what's there with the people who already know what they are working on.
Mass Effect Andromeda was 5 yrs in development. With only the final 18 months of that actually spent putting the game together.

Dam shame he's leaving R*. I remember when he appeared on Absolutel Radio (UK) to promote GTA5 and did a 2hr show of tracks from Gta3 - GTA5 and instead of the normal radio ads, it was all in game ads like Pet Stuffers and Shady Pines Resorts LMAO

I paid In for Elite Dangerous when it was announced as a kick-starter but I at least knew that title was a definite release at least (within 2 years wait if remember correctly). Sorry but that's a poor defence for title reveal. It's the same kind of defense that ppl had with sea of thieves lack of content because of the "water".
Or the defence of crackdown 3's poor graphics and destruction model and piss poor cloud computing, because everyone was having "fun".
Not surprised really. Epic games are 40% owned by Tencent. A chance to remove any product associated with China, from within America in all the rage atm.
Let's not forget that Tencent own a 40% share stake in epic games. America is very anti China atm
