I don't have one, and probably won't buy one yet, but I'm pretty sure it won't fail. Just got to give it a chance, and wait for some decent VR games to come out like Resident Evil 7, which I heard is great on VR, and Gran Turismo. If bigger games get popular in VR it will encourage others to try it. I imagine it will be a much better experience when combined with the PS4 Pro though. The development costs must have been massive with VR in comparison to previous 'gimmicks...
The PS4 pro patch could potentially lift it to 4K when it's released, as they did with Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online.
I'm a massive playstation fan, but the ps plus titles recently have been rubbish. I didn't buy a PS4 to play titles that could run on the PS3 or my phone. Mostly have ps plus for online play though so not too worried.
What the heck is the point in this comparison?! It's done with poorly compressed Youtube vidoes, it's going to look gorgeous anyway.
Everywhere I looked said March, maybe Feb if you pre-ordered a while ago I guess. Can't remember exactly which places they were, but most didn't say anything. Just actually checked Tesco Direct and they say 16th Feb now, didn't say anything before.
If it's not selling well it's because there's not any stock. Can't get one anywhere in the UK until at least March.
My prediction is highly rated Indie games that I really didn't buy a PS4 to play. I'd be happy with anything that has a PS4 Pro patch just so I can see what it looks like :P
Pretty sure it was already 1440p on the previous patch. For me, I loved the game. Missions aren't as well thought out as GTA V, but still enjoyed them, can see why some might find it repetitive though. I recommend not bothering with any side missions and just ploughing through the story for the most enjoyment, much more fun (and quicker) to go in all guns blazing too.
what would you call it?
I've played loads of awesome remasters that I didn't play the original of, love em. Wouldn't have experienced Uncharted 1-3, Last of Us, or GTA V if it wasn't for them. Skyrim next which I haven't played before!
Be lucky if it's out by 2018 I think. Be patient, if you have to wait longer it's only because they want to make it better.
Yeah I'm of a similar opinion, it's either PS4 Pro or PSVR for me, not both. Unless there's full game experience i.e. The Witcher VR (please!) then I'm not going to get my monies worth from it. Got a Gear VR free with my phone so that gives a decent VR experience and not sure PSVR will be that much better (yet).
Think the latest on Dead Island 2 is that it's expected later in 2017. Hopefully will be a great game by that time!
wish they took this approach on Deus Ex
I think it'll get a lot more interest when you get bigger games like GT Sport and Resident Evil 7 available. GT Sport was obviously originally supposed to release around the same time so that's probably quite a big blow.
If the games are good they'll get good sales in the long run, and at Christmas. There's too many good games coming out, I have a few to play that I haven't had time to start and more I want to buy. Pretty sure most of the games mentioned got decent reviews.
there's good reason's for all of these decisions e.g. they didn't put in 4K bluray support because they're hardly being sold anywhere and it's not been concluded which format will win out (remember the FD dvd drive on the xbox360?!), would also make the system a lot more expensive.
It's just the two games packaged together though. A pro patch would take more work. I can see them doing it at some point though.
Just got to read the instructions................
Septic, at what point does rainslacker mention 'critical analysis'?
