I was hoping this game would have a bit more depth to it other than the combat, but seems it's going to be lacking a bit. Mount and Blade has a similar combat (although not as deep) in terms of choosing the direction you attack and defend from, plus it has bow and arrows, a sandbox RPG mode, and a 64 player multiplayer with seige weapons etc. Graphics are terrible and dated but there's a sequel coming out this year.
Also Kingdom Come Deliverance has an interesting take on swo...
I'm sure "fans" wasn't supposed to be pluralised.
They blew 75% of the budget on the live action trailer so had to use dated animations (I would have willingly made them better ones for free myself), terrible voice acting, and rushed it so they couldn't put much detail into the story. From the games I've played this is my biggest disappointment on the PS4.
Wooooo Just Cause 3! Might finally play this.
I'm hoping the story DLC adds a bit more variety to the missions as that was the only real downfall in the main game.
Deus Ex died because every game became better than Deus Ex. They must have spent a bomb on creating the live action trailer, but then followed it up with a game that had terrible animations and voice acting.
Would love a tennis game on PS4. EA should give it another go, I'm sure they can think of some way to get Ultimate Team into the game! Graphics could look great on the latest generation though. Needs some solid multiplayer content as that's where tennis games are at their best.
I see why people would be annoyed, but at the same time they haven't really tried to hide anything so you should know what you're paying for. The amount of money that goes into making games now means they probably need the extra to make it profitable.
The one game that annoyed me was Destiny as prior to release they made out there would be a mass of ever expanding content, but never mentioned this would need to be paid for, and for a ridiculously high price at that....
Shadow of Mordor 2 would be awesome. First one was a great game but they could go a lot deeper into RPG elements and improve the open world.
Really hoping for decent depth on the story and RPG side to at least compare with Skyrim or the Witcher 3. If it has this and the combat is as good as it looks then it will hopefully be incredible.
*there is so little in exclusive content
Maybe try some of the awesome games that have been released rather than picking out the bad ones. There's been a ridiculous amount of great games, I feel spoilt for choice at the moment to the point where I'm willing to not buy Horizon Dawn as soon as it comes out even though I'm really excited about it.
This one isn't for me, I was hoping it would have more depth to it but the only depth seems to be centered around the combat system, which I find a bit frustrating (but probably just need to get used to to be fair). Will wait for Mount and Blade 2 and Kingdom Come Deliverance to get my medieval kicks.
I liked the Division from the start, but much better now after recent updates.
Hell I even really enjoyed the first Watch_Dogs. The Division is pretty cool as well. Some people do actually enjoy these games, if you don't like them play something else because a large amount of people do actually like Ubisoft games.
Found the missions pretty boring on Vice City
I absolutely love my PS4 Pro, and to get it for effectively £200 (after selling my original PS4) is an incredible bargain. Very interested to see what the Scorpio will retail at as the Ps4 Pro price will probably come down when it's released. Saying that I would have probably still paid more if it had cost more, but where do you stop?! There's also the argument that it is still part of the PS4 generation, so they probably didn't want to cause to much of a gap that would lead ...
I was sold on Crackdown 3 as soon as I saw those buildings crumble, and I don't even own an Xbox.
Start saving now, it won't be cheap.
I would love a demo before spending £40 :-)
Native 4k is surely mainly better because it's easier to implement, but from what I've heard when checkerboarding is done right it's hard to tell the difference, which will be the case with Horizon Zero Dawn. Also if the antialiasing is done right that makes just as much of an impact. Anyone played Uncharted 4 on PS4 Pro? Looks ridiculously amazing and it's nowhere near 4k.
