Also Rainbow Six Siege, which will be 4K 120fps on both consoles.
I think Ubisoft are trying to win back credit this year, they've gone all out on the free upgrades and also keeping their prices lower, so I'm backing them. I've got Watchdogs and Assassin's Creed PS4 versions preordered both for £85 with the intention to just play them on PS5, which is a bargain when you look at some of the £70 priced games.
Probably won't have a huge impact. Would have a bigger impact if they came out and said every Bethesda game will be exclusive to Xbox, but we all know MS want the software sales on PS5/PS4. A new Fallout single player is the one I'd miss the most if it wasn't coming out on PS5.
Everyone just wants everything for free these days. I'm sure they've thought about it and there was a reason they didn't, maybe it was down to the excessive amount of time it took to do it. It might be that it's a bigger upgrade than people are expecting (fingers crossed).
Why does it annoy you so much?
I'm sure a lot of people will get the novel and enjoy it. It's there to add a background story to enhance your immersion and experience from the offset.
Yeah a big part of me wants to hold off on Cyberpunk until it gets the PS5 upgrade patch, but so hard to do as I'm so excited about the game. Apparently there will be some improvements on the PS5 when it's launched, but nothing near the full upgrade.
Sounds like there may have been a lot more problems in the US than the UK then, that sucks.
Save so much money buying the physical copy. I can buy a game new then sell it on Facebook a few weeks later for just a few quid. Plus I want the UHD drive anyway for some certain films to get the full quality. Plus digital games take up much more space, which I think is a big downside. I'd maybe be tempted to go digital if the prices were better.
Love jumping into this game every now and then. Really hope there's a PS5 version, happy to pay for the upgrade as well.
It's two years old, this is why there's not a free upgrade.
bet this will lead to a lot of kids damaging their eyesight using VR when they're too young.
Pretty sure they confirmed a while ago it was up to 120fps.
I'm surprised about this chaos for preorders. I signed up for information about preorders on Amazon (UK), and got an email saying exactly when it went live, and preordered it easy. There were loads of websites doing the same thing.
Agree Toddybad. This isn't seen by people who don't play Fifa, they don't really know how much it's changed. So many ways to just earn players and rewards, and if you're enjoying it then it doesn't feel like a grind. PES21 is cheaper because they've barely done anything with it. Not that Fifa has done a huge amount, but it's done a lot more than PES, particularly with career mode it seems.
Lol think 41 downvotes is a record for me, not sure why I deserved them.
Pure ignorance.
I agree to a certain extent Nacho. I don't want to just play short games because I don't have much times, I just want my time to be really enjoyable when I play it. Massively enjoyed going through the Last of Us 2 over a month and a half. I just can't stand anything that makes you grind now, apart from No Man's Sky maybe. but that's not really got a proper grind to get resources. Play that sometimes as it's a good game to chillout with. Tried Sea of Thieves on PC gamep...
I see it makes sense to offer free upgrades for games coming out in the next few months, not games that have been out over a year though.
With CoD you're not paying more to upgrade to the PS5/Series X version, you're paying less to have the PS4 and Xbox one version with the option of upgrading later anyway.
Forgot about this game! Was great on the C64.
Yeah but it costs them more to get it ready for next gen also. I think it's pretty sweet that I can just pay £5 extra (cost in the UK) and get a free upgrade when the PS5 comes out after having played for a month. If it generally gets plugged back into creating CoD games in the future then I'm happy to pay a little extra.
There's nothing wrong with the loot boxes in Fifa. You get so much opportunity to earn rewards that there's never any need to purchase them. Some of the best rewards like guaranteed team of the week players, you get from playing weekend league or completing objectives. It's easy to miss this if you don't actually play it, but I don't understand why someone who says they play FUT has missed this.
