I think that's fair enough. The game's been out for almost a year! If they weren't able to get any money for the PS5/Series X version they wouldn't bother spending the time on it. Game companies don't have endless supplies of money. Also nobody bought the current gen version expecting to get an upgrade for next gen.
Medman - Sorry you misunderstood me or i wasn't clear enough. The article suggests holiday season 2020 and I was correcting it because they've already said it will be sometime in 2021. Whether that's in the early or later part of 2021 is yet to be seen. Hoping it's the early part as I'd prefer my first playthrough to be on PS5.

Look forward to playing this upgraded on PS5. I think there will be a series of basic character types who repeat a lot, then rarer characters with deeper personalities and abilities. Almost like common/uncommon/rare/epic loot systems.
Would be happy with 4k 60fps and improved graphic fidelity. Modern Warfare looks pretty great on PS4 Pro, and achieves 4K native at 60fps sometimes as part of it's dynamic resolution (doubt textures are 4k though). I don't think it's worth the developers trying to optimise 8k on next gen consoles as there's going to be such a small user base with 8k TV's/Monitors.
