I am a console elite player with a few thousand hours logged. Personally, i would love to see the game evolve into a hybrid experience, specifically with the ability to enjoy ship interiors.
I also fully agree that no one should be forced into wither buying or playing that content if they dont want to. But the most important thing of all…. The content, or any content for that matter, should probably work.
It wouldve been way better if you constantly had to rescue balloons for children.
I guess this is why the framerate chugs so often? Or so I’ve heard. Still waiting for a decent sale to pick this one up.
Hahahaha! Yes I think they actually did have to work harder for this. Great point friend.
You are in a climate controlled structure with a steady source of power, using the internet to browse a site posting videogame news.
Would you prefer to discuss the potential world-ending problems of late-stage capitalism?
Well, and I hate saying this but, we have shown these companies that we will buy anything that is marketed well. That is why I’m constantly on here scolding people for blindly hyping games when all they have seen is what the publishers deem marketable.
I have to believe that DICE is being run by EA at this point. The impression exists that DICE had to fight tooth and nail to get portal included to help save face with their core audience. But as we see, not even that saved the game.
Well WB is the only studio that can use the “nemesis system” since they trademarked it.
Ummmmm….
@Christopher
It seems that you have missed my point. I’m not arguing the definition of what an opinion is, just that forming such an opinion about a game before you have played it is asinine and just plays into this hype-culture that has burned us countless times.
It is ridiculous to have such a strong opinion on something when said opinion is shaped only by what is marketed to you.
But that’s just my opinion.
Yeah i must admit that BF1 is my fav. Take the movement from BFV and put it in there and it would be perfect.
Its a complicated state of affairs to say the least lol. BFV had good bones. The pre-release marketing is absolutely what killed it. I actually loved it aside from the ridiculous elite skins…
@christopher
You know about context right? It is their opinion that it is GOTY. Read the comment! How can you say you think something IS GOTY when you havent played it? So sick of this hype culture. Get excited, sure, but temper it until you have it in your hands. Pretty basic stuff.
By the time they cut development, it was just gaining traction. Honestly its mechanics are the best they have ever been IMO.
How is it that you already have an opinion about this? Have you played it? Have you played all the other games releasing in 2022? Instead, try saying something a little more sensible like “I bet this game will be my GOTY based on what I’ve seen and heard”. You’re just a nonsensical hype machine. I’m sure it will be great and most likely on peoples GOTY lists but damn. Dial it back.
Gamers need to stop hyping games up so much. Thats how we get train-wrecks like CP2077, Ant...
MFer YOU set the expectations high when you abandoned BFV ahead of schedule and promised the next one would be better! Y’all did this to yourselves.
I do love how quickly 2042 was abandoned by players. Its hilarious to me that everyone pretty much went back to BFV.
We just want a battlefield game. Not this trend-chasing nonsense.
@bouzebbal
Why are the dumbest people also the loudest? I’m glad your experience was a mild one but that doesn’t mean… eh, nevermind. Enjoy being stupid. Im sure its a blissful existence.
Where’d you hear that? OAN? Thanks for the laugh sport. Oh, sorry, sport MD.
Oh nice. Guessing you got the dlc as well? Thoughts on that? Good value?
