You should write a strongly worded letter to EA. Maybe you’ll show them that it shouldnt always be about profit. They seem like reasonable folk.

I dont think its as simple as “its gamepass’ fault.” Perhaps they made a bad deal on that, but you also cant discount how the game reviewed and played at launch. It was something of a buggy mess when I played it and the endgame content was anemic.
The closest I’ve come to this is completing all of the endurance races in forza motorsport 3. Or maybe I did one of them and hired a driver for the others? Memory is a funny thing…
Tennis is extremely fun w a friend. Swordfighting as well. Bowling is serviceable but maybe too easy. The other three are meh. Maybe golf will be decent but i suppose that depends on the courses they provide.
Overall, we had so much fun w tennis and swordfighting that we felt it was worth the $40.

This game is really something special. Anyone who is a fan of dungeon crawlers should give it a try. Imagine diablo but being able to mix and match the powers of every class.

In my newbie opinion: yes, absolutely. It already easily ranks in my favorites of all time. Probably top 5? I would have to really think on it but its way up there.
Go in with an open mind. It is hard, but there is plenty of help with the tougher enemies and bosses with summons and co op. The game is beautiful and you are rewarded for everything you do from exploring to quests to combat. If you’re having trouble the wikis are also very comprehensive.
I was never able to get into souls games before, but I bought this on several recommendations and it easily ranks as one of my favorite games of all time. I do appreciate the build diversity but the best part for me is the sense of exploration.

Just a questlog would do absolute wonders for me. There’s just so much to keep track of if you’re wandering around that it seems like they didnt add it out of sheer stubbornness.
Game is great tho. I am constantly in fear of loosing my “souls”. Its nice that you can buy those single use tree branches tho.
I couldnt shake the feeling that this game was deliberately trying to waste my time. I have friends that love it but when i drive an hour to an objective and misjudge one little obstacle, flipping my truck… its way too deflating. The game wouldnt suffer at all from a position reset button.
