We had many great exclusives while sony was untouchable with the ps2. So they don't need ms to deliver loads of quality exclusives.
There will only be no point in consoles anymore when the high profile exclusive instantly hit pc. Ms already started it with xbox. Hope sony doesn't follow.

I know outside multiplattform games, the selection of high profile games is small on pc, but at least you could have chosen something like quake champions, something people outside the pc community actually heard and care about.

Yeah ok, it couldn't be that most gamers just prefer what sony has to offer because they (sony) invests in the single thing anyone who calls himself a gamer should care about - the games. Also with sony you don't have to worry about that the console you have invested in, becoming first party games dryland 3 years prior to next gen because developement shifted to next gen.
