Expect to be extremely disappointed then.
You're saying there was no thought put into the actual level design? I disagree heavily, especially with the Wii game which ranks up there with Bros. 3 and World.
I disagree with the order, but that's just a slight beef I have with the list.
Here's the correct link. I don't know how the story was approved if the link was always wrong.

No problem. But I just read it again, and this caught me off guard:
"now they are already making New Super Mario Brothers 2 also for the 3DS and Wii U?"
Uh, I don't see how a self-proclaimed "huge Mario fan" and "Nintendo diehard" doesn't know that NSMB2 is for 3DS and New Super Mario Bros. U is the Wii U game. Two completely different games. I'm not a "Nintendo diehard" and even I know that. :/
I was always a Perfect Dark guy. Loved playing multiplayer games with friends and simulants. Also loved the huge arenas.
I miss when Rare had their magic.
I don't think so. Fans and critics loved the blend of 2D and 3D gameplay of Super Mario 3D Land, they adored the gravity gameplay of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, they enjoyed the multiplayer mayhem of New Super Mario Bros. Wii (some even compare it to the greatness of World and Bros. 3, which I'd agree), etc. And how is any of that "lacking originality"? You might not have liked them, but that doesn't mean they had zero originality.
One game that plays it...
Nintendo tries something different like with Super Mario Sunshine = "it sucks, I want old Mario" (which is basically what you are asking for with a bigger Super Mario 64)
Nintendo stays the course = "it sucks, you didn't change enough, Nintendo"
And so it goes on and on.
You should at least try to find 'em on your own first! ;)
Yeah, I don't even care anymore when someone gets his name wrong. He's just that irrelevant to me.
@Freakzoid2012 - Well said and true. Sadly, N4G is just console wars 101 and nothing more. Unfortunately it gets worse when the same commenters go to troll on the articles that are linked here.
It's. Not its. I have a hard time taking an article seriously that doesn't even get the title right.
Then again, this is IGN-level fan-wankery.
"Gamescom belongs to Sony, as does my heart."
Never forget.
That's easy if a person actually pulls their head from out of their butt and takes off their blinders.
I know your post is bait, but I'll bite.

Can we just wait till the thing comes out and pick the hardware apart then? I know that doesn't make for any console warz fun, but still...
And it's pathetic that Eurogamer took the quote from an IGN article and made an inflammatory title out of it. Games journalism is a gift that keeps on giving. This is what was said:
"The game is “easily on a par [with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions],” says Lycett. “We’re still very much getting to grips...
Looks extraordinary. People are so quick to call anything that isn't appealing to them a gimmick, but if "gimmicks" push the industry forward with innovation that is most importantly worthwhile, then I am all for it.
lol You need to look up the word "apropos", bud. It's a real word. I promise. It won't hurt to expand your vocabulary.
How did this story get approved? Aren't N4G stories supposed to use the original article's title?
Nintendo and Microsoft probably want to do their own conferences where they can have 100% of the attention and not fight for the media and gamers' eyes. For instance, Nintendo generally has a September conference for blowouts (new software, details, etc) on new hardware releases. They did this for the Wii and 3DS, and it seems they might for the Wii U.
Did some fifteen year old make a Flash game or something?
I enjoyed both games on Wii, and I'd love to play them again on the PS3. I just don't own a Move or any of the prerequisite hardware needed for the game. But if you do have everything, these games -- especially Darkside Chronicles -- are great.
