The LittleBigPlanet series in Japan never lit up the sales charts. The first did admirably, but the sequels dropped off the face of the earth for the most part. It's unfortunate because it's my favorite Sony IP this generation.
Couldn't get the link to work (error on my side), but the people who import games are in the vast minority, so this affects like only 1-5% of people. "Hardcore gamers" are not as important or as prominent as they think they are.
This list will help such willful ignorance. :)
The ignorance is what is funny shit to me.
Or it's the fact that magazines are going the way of the Dodo and have declined in popularity exponentially over the past decade....
...Or yeah, it's because of the Wii U. Yeah, it has to be the stupidest reason that defies all logic.
Michael was in the second article (it's the second link in the opening paragraph). Great minds think alike.
Soon you'll come to the stage of acceptance on your journey through the stages of grief.
VGChartz's owner pulls numbers from his butt on a constant basis, and when he gets REAL numbers, he just changes his "best guesses" from his "sources" (aka his ass), and it's a joke that anyone with any kind of proper brain function takes the site or its owner seriously.
I meant it was a nice way of saying they are fanboys. I didn't read the article as I tend to stay away from company zealot sites. N4G already gives me enough of that crap as evident by one person in this very story's comments who writes like he's 8 and has received a fair amount of Agrees.
It's cool to be enthused about a publisher you like, but when you start doing free PR for them, something is ridiculously wrong.
Face it. People on N4G woul...
To post a comment that isn't making fun of an anti-Nintendo position (sorry, but the Bayonetta 2 incident made many in the anti-Wii U camp lose credibility and respect 100%):
It's important to note though that motion control was not the sole reason for its success. It's an important piece, but the Wii also had the software to appeal to a lot of people. The Wii line, Mario and Nintendo's other franchises, Just Dance, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc.
Ah, the word "fad". Is that the new term like "gimmick", "kiddy", and "casual" to insult Nintendo now? I can't really keep up with your ilk any more.
You guys are so bitter it is delicious. :3
You make the Nintendo fanboys look normal.
"PlayStation gamers are so adamant about the brand."
What a glamorous way of putting it.
They're doing what they did with the Wii, so what's the problem?
I keep saying that gamers cannot embarrass themselves more, but I keep getting proven wrong. I really hate gaming culture.
@guitarded77
Ugh. The dreaded "wah, Nintendo fanboys" argument. Cool, bro. I find it fun to whine about every type of fanboy and feel the need to persecute a particular type at every juncture in my life instead of ignoring them. Not a waste of time at all.
Nah, no thanks, Pachter. Don't care to listen to anything you have to say anymore. You had your chance (20+ times), and you blew it each and every one.
Just goes to show that anyone who says that they can predict how the industry will turn out is full of crap.
This looks like it's going to be a fun game. I wonder how deep each part of Nintendo Land will be. Will there be multiple goals to accomplish (think Wii Sports stamps) within each game? Will there be different difficulties? Etc.
I have my eye on this one.
Then you are an abnormality on gaming sites.
For a comment that isn't responding to a zealot, could this rumor have anything to do with the multiple SKUs also being rumored? Perhaps one of the SKUs is with Nintendo Land while another is without? That's sort of why rumors regarding the Wii U bore me because there's so many. I'll just wait till Thursday to find out. :)
Between this, Rayman Legends, and Trine 2, the Wii U is going to get a lot of playtime from me as a big 2D platforming fan.
