Excited not just for E3, but hopefully a new Wii U-related Nintendo Direct!
I've only read things, but they seemed like horror stories. Glitches that are scarier than the actual alien creatures.
So this IS the definitive version then-- the one you don't have to play! :P
Yeah, I actually had Jump on a preliminary list, but I ultimately axed it since it never came out in the West.
That's a great one too. What's so great about the DS is how many excellent games that are deserving of sequels there are.
I missed out on the original, so this port actually interests me. Maybe there IS a market for this.
Actually, no, probably not a market for this. Never mind. :P
I've said this before, but I wish I would have jumped on the $30 Origin sale. This looks fantastic.
It certainly does. By far my favorite Wii U game. Nintendo needs to put this one in demo stations at stores. Would make some sales happen.
Absolutely. A lot of indies are showing love to Nintendo systems thanks to Nintendo's easing off their formerly strict requirements.
At this stage it's all about being profitable as a company with the Wii U. The idea of being the industry leader once again right now is next to impossible.
I wish I jumped on this when it was $30 on Origin.
Ah. Thanks for teaching me that!
I didn't understand your report, as this article deals with the industry (i.e. how broken the business model is and how Nintendo screwed up royally), and really nothing to do with culture.
Short term they do, but without a steady influx of games to go along with it, the Wii U will go back to selling pitifully.
Exactly.
Taking a page out of the 3DS's launch would mean slashing the price when there are a steady stream of games coming out. This is not the time for Nintendo to slash the Wii U price, as there is no stream coming. As history has proven, a price drop without games coming out on a steady basis is only a short-term solution and that's it. Price drops without steady software means sales return to levels they were before the price drop a few weeks later.
Nah, I don't think there will be a problem at all since PS3 > PS4 is easier to recognize it's a huge upgrade and a sequel to the PS3 rather than Wii > Wii U, which Nintendo has been pretty horrible at marketing in general.
You mean the Circle Pad Pro? No, it is not.
Well, I mentioned a bigger marketing presence in the article. I think that combined with a price cut and, as I put it, "a steady stream of games" would give the Wii U more life. I can't say it would completely turn around the system's fortunes, but it would certainly not hurt.
You explained your side of the argument very well, Thirty3Three. Now I know why ZombiU is not the unsung hero of 2012. If you have any other thoughts on various games and subjects that you'd like to elaborate as well along the lines of "Um. No", then please tell me so I can read it. I look forward to your in-depth analysis!
