How about instead:
"It would be nice if console manufacturers in general can get a lot of sales out of this."
Most companies deserve it, because I don't know if you've been paying attention, but the economy is not being nice to a lot of them. Why single out Sony only when there's so many other deserving companies as well?
"you're not rebuying the game, it's an optional upgrade"
A disturbing amount of people on this site would rather do a quick knee-jerk reaction than actually read carefully on topics. Not just this, but anything.
I want this so very much. The demo that came with the Ratchet & Clank Collection was short but oh-so-very sweet.
This game seems too old school in its puzzle design/adventure aspects for my tastes.
I could see myself getting quite frustrated with the game. I don't think that would be too bad, though. I've been frustrated at worse things.
This will look and be glorious on the Vita screen.
Very excited for this game. I've been wanting a Monster Hunter-style game on the Vita, and Keiji Inafune being behind it just makes it all the more appealing to me.
The only rehash here is DragonKnight whining about Nintendo and its fans yet again (ironic that HE rates someone as a troll, but I guess it really does take one to know one.) The fact that you took the time to write up a multiple paragraph rant shows his dedication at the very least.
Generally, you have to be a fanboy to think that one company is treated better than another. Oh, wait... (If that wasn't clear, I'm calling you a company zealot.)
Reminds...
Definitely agree with number one (Xenoblade Chronicles). Fantastic, wonderful, *insert your own positive adjective here*.
I loved the combat, the story was engaging, the world was breathtaking, and the soundtrack was absolutely awesome.
I was referring to the Wii. The 360 did not do much for me in terms of exclusives... or console build quality... or having to pay for online... or racist bigots online.
It also had a great list of exclusives which helped it sell, but I guess that doesn't fit your agenda, now does it?
Technically Ratchet & Clank Collection was the way to celebrate the series' tenth anniversary as well.
Yeah, the original on Wii sold a million or so in its first month.
When only one game flopping (Disney Epic Mickey 2) can make your entire studio close down, you know the industry business model is broken.
The Rabbids wore out their welcome a long time ago.
It really was an awesome game. I am most likely going to be double-dipping come this May.
Pet peeve, but it really should be "its role" instead of "it's role."
One of my favorite PS1 games with probably my favorite soundtrack in gaming.
Excited for Fire Emblem, Rayman, and Sly.
Ooh.
de Blob was really fun, but I didn't like the sequel as much. I also thought Deadly Creatures was pretty mediocre.
