I don't know what event you saw, but you are entitled to your opinion.
I think in this case the 3D in the title refers to 3D movement and not the stereoscopic effect, of which there is none in the Wii U game.

And Nintendo's games are marketed to everyone. The "it's only for children" line is beyond old and beyond rehashed.

As long as gamers behave like gamers do on message boards and comments sections, no, gaming will not grow up. It's not the games that are the problem. It's the gamers and people who make them.

GCN also was very profitable for Nintendo. I'm sure fanboys on Internet forums really care about who is first place and that, but Nintendo most likely cares first and foremost about being profitable.
No, the 3DS was simply competing against smartphones and tablets, and still is. A very difficult battle, for sure.

Because we enjoyed them more than ToS. It's called having an opinion that differs from your own. If more gamers could understand and respect that concept, maybe gamers wouldn't be the butt of so many jokes.
Made Mario Kart 7 a much more impressive experience, so it's great Nintendo can provide more 60 FPS in 3D experiences.

I think winning E3 is such a lame concept now. I think the goal should be to not have a horrible showing, because while winning is fine, it really doesn't predict success for a console or company. However, having a poor showing can really ruin a company/console (e.g. Sony 2006, Nintendo 2012).
I'll leave the arguments of who "won" E3 after everything is over to console warriors.
