A true console plays great games, which Nintendo consoles have done. You just want them to go bankrupt trying to compete in an arms race with Sony and MS, who have other departments to cover their losses if they fail. Remember that Nintendo is only a gaming company. They don't have a TV or computers branch to bail them out like the other two.

I agree. The more I see of Super Mario 3D World, the more I am liking it. Then again, Super Mario 3D Land was really fun, and I've always wanted a 3D multiplayer Mario. I understand some are peeved about no online, but could you imagine how perfect the latency would have to be to make precision jumps and platforming? It'd be crazy.
They shouldn't really be laying people off when the problem is they don't have enough people to make enough games.

Peter Moore and EA couldn't be more disingenuous if they tried. They did not put any effort in their Wii U titles. Hell, for Madden and FIFA they took their last year game and simply add GamePad features and a roster update and charged full price. If that doesn't tell you what EA thinks of Nintendo platform buyers, nothing will. They are total insults to consumers, and EA deserves all of the lack of success on the Wii U that they got.
There is no defending this anymore. The Wii U is a disaster of epic proportions, and everyone associated with it needs to go away. Absolutely pathetic, Nintendo.
