These screenshots aren't new. I had them on my wallpaper for like a month.
By "Ability to Play Used Games", it meant second-hand games, not last gen games.
It's a common practice among publishers. I guess EA did the same thing with the last Medal of Honor...
I hope the game isn't as unimaginative as this image -_-
For once, I found an official Ubisoft statement quite funny^^
Despite having a IV on it, not changing much of the location and time frame makes it look a lot like a transition episode just like Brotherhood and Revelations... Well, I thought naval gameplay was the best new feature in the last AC but this doesn't seem very appealing to me...
If the devs choose 30 FPS, it'll be 30 FPS, just like this gen.
Framerate is not (only) a hardware limitation but mostly a design choice. Uncharted could have run at 60 frames per second, but it wouldn't have been as pretty as it is today. Call of Duty could look better, but then it wouldn't perform at 60 frames per second.
Well I don't hate Sony nor I certainly don't wish for them to fail. It's a good thing that they are finally going to release a new console: powerful consoles ensure we get good AAA on PC too (many of the multiplatform games wouldn't be as profitable as if they were PC exclusive), and the PS4 having a simular architecture to the PC's may allow for good ports.
It's just that like the author, I was left unimpressed because the console did not have any par...
More like welcome to Sony fanboy base. If you're not one of them, you came to the wrong neighborhood mothaf*cka!
Well according to your reasoning, we could also ask why people have to tell if they're excited about the PS4 too.
I agree for the past but the way they handle things now would make me worry if they had the licence.
EA isn't better than Activision. I hope it's another publisher than those two that'll get it (T2, Ubi, Square, etc).
The slower pace must be helping that (which is not a bad thing). Uncharted was more like a roller coaster.
I agree, for me it's two different markets.
Couldn't they get around the Microsoft policies by releasing an "enhanced" version of the game on Xbox (and PS3), with added-value compared to the WiiU version instead of this stupid delay -_-
I agree. While boycotting the released game would hurt the devs who are also the victims in this story, let's at least boycott this demo as stupid and only symbolic this act can be.
And I don't want to spoil too much myself either, I want to keep as much discoveries as possible for when I get the full game.
Yep and for once, the concept of tablets and mobiles is in line with the themes of the game, not just a gimmick.
I would add to it better sniper mechanics. There's no bullet drop in this game plus there's a certain limit to where your sniper can fire: even if you can see your targets in your scope (it seems like the bullets magically disappear past a certain range).
So far the most satisfying sniper handling (at very long range) I had was with Battlefield 3.
I think it has more to do with the complaints in Far Cry 2 where you were constantly bothered by enemies when you traveled in the wilderness. But I agree I miss some actions once you've completed the main storyline and took all the outposts.
When they make decent games other than Battlefield with their Frostbite engine, we'll talk about it again -_-
