I play with a controller on PC as well and 30fps is just fine for me. I get to enjoy nicer visuals and I don't have to worry about judder. I cap my games at 30fps even though I can get much higher framerates.

I just like the consistency that 30fps gives.

If Beyond: Two Souls ran at 60fps, it would lose the cinematic look of the game.

Actually, I game on PC and I cap my games at 30fps to have a more consistent framerate. I hate framerate drops, so if I can maintain a steady 30fps, I'll choose that over 60fps that drops sometimes.

60fps is so over-rated for consoles. When you're using a controller, 30fps is fine and you'll get more detail with 30fps.

On a PC with a mouse and keyboard, you'll want a faster framerate because the mouse is much more sensitive and cannot have input latency.

You have to close the menu to make it take effect.

There is a mute all button. Hold select and choose who you want to hear. It's probably on "everyone" but you can change it to friends or crews

Hah! Good one!

Actually, I don't play CoD.

I liked Beyond: Two Souls, it was entertaining, but it's not something I'd really want to PLAY. I enjoyed the story and the characters.

It could be custom. It is a Sony store after all.

I'm going to have to agree with Back-to-Back. Gaming on a PC monitor has many advantages. No input lag (TVs have picture enhancing processing built in and even game mode doesn't get rid of all the lag) and also, monitors can have very low pixel response time like 2ms (which means no ghosting on fast paced games).

I've got a Samsung XL2370 and it rocks. The backlight is even, there is no clouding, the response time is 2ms and there's no input lag.

The best way to play this game is by having someone else play it while you watch. It's an entertaining movie, but I wouldn't wanna play it.

My fiancé played it while I watched ;-)

The animations look horrible!

I may be the minority here, but that didn't really impress me much.

Umm because they don't give us demos for every game. I'm pretty sure that if they gave us demos of all games, a lot of games wouldn't be purchased by very many. A lot of us need reviews to see if our hard earned money should be spent on the game.

I disagree about this being the best game graphically this generation. Yeah, the characters look good, but the environments and lighting are nothing special. Also, the fact that it's missing basic things like motion blur and SSAO is also disappointing.

How come the graphics don't look as good as they did when they first showed the game?

4531d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Oh really? I thought that they would just leave it broken.

What kind of stupid title is this?

That's your problem... you bought the xbox 360.

I bought a PS3 and I've been using the same one since I got it back in 2009.

If you don't have a PS3, you're missing out on some amazing gaming experiences with all the quality exclusives (Infamous and Uncharted for example).

Just get a PS3 already! Jeeze!

I think they're gonna release it along side Red Dead Redemption

GTA IV had lots of pop in textures and objects all the time. I didn't think anyone was going to think this game was going to be without flaws.
