They were supposed to fix that with the beta and now it's been over 2 weeks since the launch.....so why's it taking so long?

I have seen them undertrack a few older games like GT5 Prologe, but other than a few undertracks, I've never seen them off by that much.

576p gameplay on the XBOX 360, because of DVDs.
It's really dependent on a several factors....such as the size of the game in question and how many disks said developer/publisher is willing to press up for said game as well.
So in some instances, DISK SIZE can and does impact graphical fidelity and resolutions.

Why do Europeans get gouged so much?
Because the article says it's "29,99€", which is about $40 US.
I mean, that's double the maximum that a disk copy would cost and you can get the game cheaper than that.
Is this common for most games in Europe?

But still, the the PS3 is the better version hands down because 1 scratch resistant BLURAY > 2 SCRATCH PRONE dvds.
Trivial pixel differences aside, the BluRay being better than DVD will be true until the end of time.
Gonna probably take a couple more weeks to get to it, but I wanna see what all the fuss is about.

The meat of the service(s) is gameplay. Last I checked, I was shooting people in BF3 on PSN just the same as those on XBOX LIVE.
