It takes ALOT of capital & ALOT of know how to bring a worldwide console to success, ALOT of partnerships......and as successful as Valve is in their own Arena, I think the best Valve could do right now is partner up and provide the online infrastructure, or something like that.
Think about how many BILLIONS it cost Microsoft to practically barge into the console industry.
That would destroy Valve.
So, does this basically mean Silicon Knights will be out of business?
DUST 514 is the first AAA budget f2p game ever specifically made for consoles. Sony and many other developers are watching VERY closely to see how and if it can actually work.
