let's just say that PC gamers don't need anymore enemies.
There is no next gen software anywhere to be seen outside of that EPIC Samaritan tech demo.
To run that, we will need consoles to have, approximately, gpus that are equivalent to Nvidia 680s.....approximately.
Unless you're willing to pay $600 for consoles again, to get that we will have to wait untill holiday 2014.
I understand lots of people want new consoles, but you guys gotta keep in mind that whatever console upgrade we get, we are ...
besides, you're getting a Wii U in November.....
Why can't you Be happy with that for a couple of years?
I realise most new podcasters are new and often want to use fancy codecs and formats.....but when you want people to watch or listen to your stuff, always remember the old saying, "LESS IS MORE".
Good old standard MP3 or MP4 works on practically everything.

BF3 looks nice, but as far as I can tell, the single player of BF3 is a very nice looking piece of CURRENT GEN Software tech, that consoles replicated quite well. Certainly BF3's campaign is best on the PC.....but it looks pretty impressive on consoles too.

I think we're looking at approx holiday 2014. 2 years from now the approx equivalent tech of a 680 should be reasonable enough costwise to be able to put in XBOX 3 and PS4 at mass production levels.

Today there is no NEXT GEN software....not even on the almighty PC....it simply doesn't exist.
Why?
Because it goes back to the point of #2.....Developers are struggling with CURRENT gen and aren't ready for next gen yet. ...
