Sony sold approx 13 - 13.5 million PS3 units in its fiscal year.
Also, Microsoft's XBOX 360 total of 40 million is SHIPPED units...They haven't officially sold 40 million consoles to consumers yet.
Also, hasn't Splinter cell been out several years before God Of War?
And then on top of that, doesn't Splinter Cell have more overall games available?
I'd like to submit that SPLINTER CELL as a whole has been more established "FRANCHISE" than GOD OF WAR.
However, God Of War (as a video game) happens to be more Critically Acclaimed.
I'm just asking for clearification,
thanks.
I love it.
Keep up the good work HHG. ;)
That's the way it works.
M60 is overpowered.
But I've never complained about that.
My complaints have been with the recon/snipers....way too many of them, way too many of them not doing anything to advance the game...way too overpowered.
Hopefully this helps.
Simply put, if you don't like it don't watch...don't click.
Really that simple.
If you click, you wanted to click. If you click again, you like him.
No sense in fooling yourself.
At any rate, Microsoft wasn't wrong in kicking the kid off, nor were they wrong for banning him for life. Hell, I applaud them for doing so...
But the kid needs to be sent his money.
"Oh...you've pissed us off and done something you don't like...WE GET TO KEEP YOUR MONEY".
Obviously that is ethically wrong, and brought before a decent judge, it would be considered illegal.
The cellular thing is more of a PUC (Public utilities Commision) issue and is more strongly monitored and enforced. But MMO's and video games, obviously, it is not....its hardly even taken seriously.
But if this was to come forth before practically any California judge, it would be easy to side on behalf of the kid here (For the MONEY only).
@Gamer7l
You had to come in a ruin a good adult debate/discussion by calling me names and being obnoxious. Why?
...
If you sign up with Cellular phone internet service, there is a data usage cap.
If you go over the usage 3 times, they kick you off and cancel service...suspended service, and its all in the T&C and TOS. (Most people go over because they are using their cell phones as modems, which is against TOS.)
AT&T they can kick off anytime they want, but California Law mandates they return any money back to customer, usually in a check.
Same principle here.
...
What if said company tells you you have to jump up and down and bark like a dog and its in the TOS/T&C's?
What if a company tells you, you have to lick your keyboard, but you can't lick the WASD buttons, or your kicked...and its in the TOS?
No offense, but there are alot of misguided people that seem to think everything that's signed or made up and/or proposed by whatever said company is LEGAL and JUST.....it's not.
I guaranty if that got challenged ...
That's what I meant when I was saying TOS/T&C's/etc are not necessarily the be all end all. Just because a company writes and makes up "rules", doesn't make it just or legal in a court of law.
MS can legally and justfully kick off anyone they want....but all remaining monies MUST be returned or there is risk said company can defraud its customers.
By the way, I'm channeling the PS3 Other OS thing and I know its a total different scenereo, but the TOS t...
Does Microsoft send you a prorated refund?
Can anyone confirm this or no?
Thanks.
I'm sure it's Twisted Metal.
But I must admit, I don't remember the "hype" because I didn't have my PS3 yet.
But regardless of hype it may or may not have recieved, it certainly met its hype as it has sold nearly 4 million units to date and it was GAME OF THE YEAR....AIAS GAME OF THE YEAR in fact.
Hype met.
It was the only console I had last generation because I was heavily into MMO's.
Too bad PS2 destroyed it. lol
and which developers gave them help.
Would be interesting to know.
Please don't tell me you didn't understand the obvious sarcasm.
:/
Bringing this game to the PS3 will render similar results as Bioshock 1.
When developers try to capitalize on the PS3's sizable userbase, and treat them as second class citizens, so to speak, their game typically gets treated second class...I call it THE BIOSHOCK TREATMENT.
Splinter Cell isn't even that great of a game....lesser of a game than Bioshock, in fact.
So, I hope Microsoft's money incentives and the 360/PC sales is enough for Ubiosoft, because...
