Almost all games have become expensive to make, Father Murder X.
Most developers are trying to get multiple games on the same engine as well.
Some live off their same engine...Valve, Epic,....not to mention Rockstar with GTA4 and RDR. And that's just off the top of my head.
You not personally liking Killzone 2 is fine, but there's approx. 3 million people who do...that's why there's going to now be a Killzone 3.
Hardcore is less about the game.....
Hardcore is more about the person behind it.
MLAA, from what I understand, is a type post processing AA effect done through the CPU. Because the CELL PROCESSOR was designed to graphics render and graphics process by itself, MLAA is best suited there and probably not for XBOX 360's Xenon CPU.
In other words, MLAA is probably not possible on the XBOX 360.
If anyone with super advanced game programing acumen wishes to chime in, please do.

Say's who?
If it's not true, then sure, we should move along, but if it is true, well....this is somewhat news worthy and we should discuss it.
I'm just trying to think logically here.
Neither Basketball nor Hockey were invented in the US. While the US didn't win the Gold, they far from sucked, obviously. Basketball though, its barely worth trying to put up an arguement against the US
The winter games is not typically where the US shines the brightest, but it certainly Shines pretty darn good winning the most medals in 2010.
And for the record US pwns every summer olympics...US didn't "invent" that either.
I don't even know what the heck Circuit de la Sarthe is, but I'm excited about it.
lol
Because it isn't just about "where there at now" that determines what publishers/developers think of a certain console and where and how to delegate resources.
Publishers also do their own forecasting based on year over year numbers to detect trends....it's part of business.
If you're a gamer, the question should be "WHY HAVEN'T YOU bought a PS3...........
dummy?"
*wink*
I was told some of the ICE team members were stepping in the help with some of the dev. programing, so it could imply a fresh new engine along with the EDGE toolset incorporated, but to claim a brand new engine would be a guess on my part.
It is possible that they could be retooling and optimizing the RAGE engine and making a specific version of it just for the PS3.
I'd be curious to know...but for now, I'd settle for some game pics.
We all know PS3 has no games
/s
Just sayin.
*shrug*
What's wrong with that in your opinion?
Just curious on your take, thanks.
too many games this gen are not providing the option when it clearly can and should exist.
Why does C&C Red Alert 3 not have K/M option for example?
Developers are totally wasting opportunities this gen.
But Sony as of late is becoming one of the Biggest A HOLE'ish companies of this 2010 year.
Not game related at all, but WTF?
But I must say, you've brought up some very interesting points that I can't say are entirely wrong here.
You get a bubble for the thought provoking and intelligent conversation.
Probably because I don't like "over the top" and silly....I prefer realism. I like my games to be immersive and realistic, even if it's a sci fi or something like that, I want it to basically fool me into the feeling that whatever situation I'm in could be plausible.
GTA 4 did that for me and that's why I liked it.
That's just me though.
..or at least half Asian.
crapgamer has only 1 bubble because if you look at his post history, its filled with blatent fanboy remarks.
When you do that over and over and over again, you get what he's gotten......
1 bubble.
It's too bad that he never commented like how he has just commented right here, because what he just posted was a very good and level headed comment.
Just an observation and answer to your question.
why?
