And it is strange that every news about PS3 are quickly countered by these same boys over and over again as if they were desperate on defending something they own.. now what might that toy be? But trying to make another thing piece of HW worse will not make your games any better so might aswell drop it. Your GOW will be just as good.

Congratulations man, I've never heard anyone been able to "burn out" a DVD/CD player. I've watched a _lot_ of DVD's with my player and PS2 and never got such problems.

Sure there will be "standardlike" support from 3rd parties but that's just because they will try to follow while MS tries to shake them off by constantly "updating" their "standards".

This has little to do with Sony, it could be any piece of hardware that is popular. It's about stupid people fighting over a piece of hardware they could get anyway in a few weeks.
You can't expect a worldwide company to arrange the enduser sales and security. Of course they could have delayed the publication a few months to satisfy all demand but what kind of negative that would that have made? Next version update should come in co-operation with the army ;)
..and motivation to stand in the rain over night for a GAMES CONSOLE...

You make it sound almost like philophical question. Come on man, it's just game consoles :) If you start to get hurt by big companies' lies then you'd better start changing your way of life to a more organic one.
But we should be worried if PS3 launch games looked equal or better than current Xbox 360 games shouldn't we? PS3 games will develop like Xbox 360 games and both will be great, hopefully.
Those pictures suck, you cannot make anything from picture taken like that. Actually you cannot make much up from the screencaptures either - other than that the one picture is twice larger. With this I mean that you'd really have to be there to see anything.
But the comparison is interesting, 360 launch RR vs PS3 launch RR. It's stupid to compare different companies' different games so this is the most fair comparison I think.
Just sales talk.. they're gonna get their head-to-head next christmas. But I bet MS would like is as soon as possible because of their +1 year head start.
Without commenting the idiotic fanboy comments from either sides I'd say that sounds pretty incredible. But take that with a great pinch of salt, the man is selling his next game like he outta do! If that kind of budget and commitment doesn't rip the hell outta any console I'd be damned to ask why.
