I saw 550k in a french forum but no references. But I suppose BBC has better sources than us.
Mart doesn't care whether it's a game console or a toaster as long as it says MS on top of it. You are correct with the 10 yrs.
How the hell can you compare 1080p games in a stamp size badly compressed video? Gimme a break.
Why do you even ask? TheMART is not even trying to be unbias, he just wants to piss off the other side. And people see what they want to see.
I think both versions are 99% same. Differences there are so little that a different television / monitor could do more.
They throw money around to do this but I doubt they will do it forever. Next-gen games are so expensive to make so I assume they will be 90% multi platform.
I may be wrong here, business is business and Sony may very well be what many of you say there.
As an IT professional I've never been really involved with gaming hardware so I cannot really comment on PSP / PS2 things. My view comes from the IT industry side where MS has been pretty aggressive with takeovers and "expanding standards". On that light their Xbox business model seems clear: to take over people's living rooms. That combined with desktop and portable domin...
You have a point there bro, gotta hand it to you. I've never seen MS being original about anything, they've just copied and run over competition with their wealth and power.
I hope Sony gives them a fight for their money.
but considering the fact that Sony does not seem to have a habit of buying exclusives, I'd cool off a bit with the word 'exclusive'. I don't like exclusives anyways, better to have games for the whole community.
I need my powerglove! :)
Are you more interested in a game -not- arriving to PS3 than it arriving to 360?
It's nice to see real gentlemen in the business.
Unlike somebody said we can learn from guys like that. The difference between Sony/MS PR persons and us is that the PR persons are employed by the companies - we're not. We are just consumers and don't get a dime whether some company wins or not. We get most bang for our buck when competition goes wild between the heavyweights. So best of luck to all consoles.
Graphically not so impressive but I hope (and looking forward to) that everything it lacks in graphics goes to physics, playability, AI, plot etc etc.
I personally think a game can be magnificent with only adequate graphics, there is so much more to gaming experience than just the sugar coating. I think we've seen enough of upcoming nex-gen graphic muscle competitions, time to bring on the real games! But of course it never hurts to have nice graphics...
And it's...
It's interesting to see the magic Cliffy does with GoW2, those guys have some serious talent. I hope GoW 2 will be fabulous and I finally get a good enough excuse to buy a 360 :)
But I really don't hope it kills of competition (like someone said), every company has to have a competitor down their throat.
Horse Piss? You must be like 10 years old?
See all what I mean by mental matureness?
I don't know about real fans but I intend to wait and see what PS3 evolves into, compare the console to others and buy the one that pleases me most. And not join with children arguing whose console is the best.
But on the contrary to what you're saying I think 360 fans are more obsessed by their consoles. Look at PS3 forums and see how many 360 fans are there just mocking (which I still don't understand), don't see that happening as much on the other direction. The absurdity is...
How old are you? What you write does not seem very mature. Everything is not about whose toy is the best.
Even though I'm interested in PS3 I think this is more just hyping. Graphical upgrades will come to both systems (I think?) and it's a fabulous game for all platforms. Please just keep it that way.
Such a (already) legendary game should be multiplatform.
I'll stick with Apple, they've earned their success. And too much of Sony / Microsoft is bad for everyone ;)
BTW interesting to see how much nexgenwars.com and vgcharts.org will display tomorrow.
