i want a good racer for the iphone. I did download asphalt4 cus it got loads of great reviews but i'm not really a fan tbh. at least most iphone games don't go over £3 and even games like assasins creed are available for £6 which is amazing when it's actually the ds game + improvements and the original game on ds still costs £25 lol

ok then i can pay £40 to play FNR4 on ps3 or i can play the 360 version with 'better graphics' and apparently better online... but it will cost me twice as much. I should hope it would be better! but by how much is it to justify paying £40 for the game and £40 for online... twice as good as the ps3 version?
I bought a 360 when they 'didn't need hdmi', does that mean i should get this game for my ps3 instead? + my gold live subscription ran out the other month. I'm trying to work out if it's worth paying as much as the actual game just to play it online :/

It's a really good and fun demo. looking frwd to the full game. I can already tell what the differences in versions will be. The ps3 version is looking really nice, sharp graphics etc. but i imagine the big difference will be that the 360 version as a lot of 'bloom'. That seems to be a big difference atm, well that and aa. I dunno if fn uses aa but i never saw any jaggies when playing last night so its all good :D

it does seem odd though. perhaps it's numbers of consoles shipped rather than 'sold', even so that would leave millions of consoles on shelves which is unlikely lol
and it did what it needed to do... sell more copies of a franchise on an ms console than the console it's always been on. Sure other gta games made it to xbox in the past, but always a while later and the ps2 versions always sold more.
So i never think the 50 mil was about dlc sales, but more getting gamers to get the game for 360 or if they didn't even own a 'next gen' system, to make people who wanted to play the next gta go 'well i could get gta and either a 360 or ps3. Now i'...
i don't think it was so much about the sales of dlc though. more of an extra draw to say to ppl who hadnt made the jump to 'next gen' go well i can play GTA4 on the 360 for much less + theres this exclusive dlc for it.
I'm not sure how well it would sell on the ps3 if it did come out but if Rockstar could then i think they would (cus there were still a high number of ps3 copies sold!) it depends on the costs though + obviously about the details of the exclusive deal.
