maybe now he can get back to working on some real games
with backwards compatibility and re usability becoming the norm in gaming, i think its safe for one to assume nintendos next console will be backwards compatible with the wii games.
it's competitive as it is, without hackers completely ruining the fun
if you re-sell your games to a game store you will be ripped off.
accept the wii for what it is and what it does. if you don't like it, then don't buy it.
duh
This 'nintendo ruined the industry with casual gaming' nonsense has to stop now. Actually, carry on, but i'll be busy playing good games whilst you moan about the rubbish ones.
motion control has captured millions of peoples imagination (if wii sales are anything to go by.) metroid prime 3 showed that motion control can be incorporated into 'serious games,' and mario kart (although silly) showed what else can be done. just imagine motion plus. just use your imagination.
nintendo took a massive gamble and it paid off, they should be given credit for that. there will always be a place for the traditional control method but i think the motion control dire...
people always mention the ps2 to 'back up' the sony is king argument, but if thats the case then you would have to take the game boy and ds machines into account. nintendo win.
i don't think nintendo will get the credit they deserve for the wii and titles like wii sport and wii fit until a few years time. they are taking gaming into a new era, sure it is 'basic' right now but this is the template that future games will be built on. first wii motion plus, then etc etc.
try and buy wii fit. go on. try.
you will need to make it an objective of your life to get hold of those before they go out of stock.
do you see metal gear solid selling at 30 pounds over its retail price? no.
the wii hit the big time.
why are people still in denial about this fact? they still have fantasies that the ps3 will miraculously come out on top.
no
That the playstation 3's strongest year would be this year. with the latest versions of metal gear and grand theft auto. if sony were to catch up with nintendo, it would have been this year.
it hasn't happened and it definately won't happen next year. time to wake up and smell the coffee, nintendo won this generation hands down.
this would be fantastic on the wii.
ok, graphics would be sacrificed but i dont think i could go back to the old control method after using the wiimote in resident evil 4.
please bring this to wii
this game looks pathetic
Are some people so short sited that they can't give the wii any respect as a console in it's own right? what's so bad if it does have ps2 graphics?
people didn't buy the wii to be blown away by graphics. if this game comes to wii it will sell millions. fact
shenmue 3
starfox wii
grand theft auto wii
zelda wii
f zero wii
final fantasy 7 remake (exclusive to the wii)
goldeneye 007 (exclusively for wii)
pikmin wii
earthbound wii
kid icurus wii
as the article pointed out, the potential for full motion control is great. but nintendo didn't exactly showcase it with wii sport resort. i hope it isn't a missed opportunity
nintendo said that mario galaxy was a game that could cater for both casual and 'hardcore' gamers, and that game is solid. so if they do the same to zelda (make it accessible to everybody) then i'm not worried. i just hope they dont beat it to death with the casual stick.
do you really think nintendo didn't do research for wii fit? of course they have advisors. i bet the health expert was labeled overweight and got offended.
people will always blame something else for their own problems.. 'oh wii fit made me ill' ... yeah right.
nothing truly exciting was announced.
what happened to sonys motion controller? the one that breaks in two? and microsofts motion controller? and where were nintendo and all their real announcements? why don't people just admit that e3 this year was pants.
the biggest announcement was final fantasy on the 360. thats it. everything else was underwhelming.
please bring this to the wii
