I sure hope not. Multiplayer has been the same thing in every game. Deathmatch, team deathmatch...and now they all have perks. Ugh. I dunno, maybe I need to be a shooter fan to be a gamer in the future.

I wouldn't mind but it's Nintendo. You cannot really expect them to do different. New IPs, good and bad, are all in the third parties with Nintendo systems.
They all need to survive. I am a fanboy for all three consoles and PC. I'll support all platforms next-gen. Nobody should drop out.
Next-gen on the Wii U? Sure. Rockstar is on board with this next-gen Nintendo system. PS4 might be a different story but they could port it over there as well if they release it in a GTA collection.
I am a PC gamer and there are problems with Skyrim. Not as bad as PS3 but enough. I play both versions. The PS3 version warrants a recall and Bethesda deserves a class action lawsuit.
Disappointed with this console generation. Skyrim ruined it for me. I used to defend this generation when people bash it, I just can't anymore. It's shit. Video games are going down the same toilet with movies. Everything nowadays just suck. They're made for the lowest common denominator of gamers, and the games that are actually meaningful it's broken and virtually unplayable. Sad.
For all it's worth, Square-Enix can go out of business. They abandoned what made them successful in the first place. Serves them right. Fail company is fail.
The recent FF games just suck. They're mindless corridors with a mediocre story, annoying characters, dumbed down battle system, and music that isn't memorable. None of these are in the PS1 era games. Even FFVIII with its shortcomings is still a better game. Square-Enix just can't seem to make a good game anymore. Sad.

Gamers are just cheap and lazy to work for what they want. The people who buy iPads are the working class and can afford one. Plenty of iPad owners aren't gamers, so there are two different target markets for each device.
