Time to make a new platform IP with a new character, world, story, etc. That would be awesome.
Volition, THQ.
"In the end, I fully believe that we have to do something about these issues or our industry is going to fall apart."
Not a fan of used games but the industry isn't falling apart because of used games, it's falling apart because games nowadays just suck and pandered to the lowest common denominator of gamers. Most of this generation's AAA blockbuster action games are just...shallow and have little substance apart from zOMG PRETY GRAFIKS, perfect game for...
"The only people complaining about this are the 34 year old virgin nerds that are scared to talk to girls. Which make up most of the game industry's population."
I agree.
Well I think it is a great article and I respect his opinion I also don't agree with it at all. PS is very reputable for their gaming products, so I'd prefer it to stay that way, and we are all comfortable with it thus isn't broken. Not only that, but PS is one of Sony's more valuable and popular brands. It could do more harm than good.
Not that they are "to pricey" but they don't include a cheap low capacity, not even a 1GB stick, standard in the box. This could lead to plenty of things that could go wrong. It could lead to less sales because you're buying a system and a game, and with a good chance, still can't play it unless you also buy a sold separately device costing at least another $20. You don't know how many non-gamer parents buying their kids this device for their birthdays or Christmas w...
I was debating for awhile which model to buy, well for me I picked the WiFi model because I have a portable hotspot with 4G. With this I can actually game online on the go, have unlimited data, download games larger than a Mini, still have the ability to communicate with my friends, still able to browse the web, and...well I see no point for me to pay more to own this 3G model especially when it's associated with no less than a mediocre service, AT&T. Yes it's understandable to wa...
"Elaborate please, please explain to me why Vita doesn't deserve a 5/5? What feature do you think its missing?"
Because You Didn't Read It.
Some mad scientist on N4G discovered a time machine.
Squaresoft was one of my all time favorite companies in video games. Their games were of high standard and excellence for the jRPG genre. But look at it now, merged with Enix, and completely abandoned their audience that actually supported and appreciated their games, all so they market to some "larger" audience of drunken fratboys. Because of this, this leaves me little hope for vXIII and may be the final nail in the coffin.
Going mainstream is the worst thing that...
CoD4, that game is one of my favorite shooters considering FPS is one of my least favorite genres. It was that good. CoD2 was great fun too, if you like the WW2 setting anyway. My interest in FPS has been killed by the later editions of CoD and pretty much every other shooter out there having only little difference apart.
Happens with every company selling consoles. This is no different, but all of a sudden it's just evil simply because it's Nintendo.
Gaming is an expensive hobby. Don't like it? Find something else to do. Wait for the games to drop to $40 or less which they all eventually do. Again, gaming is an expensive hobby, it always has been and will not change anytime soon. Get used to it.
Stop crying and make your own games if you're that cheap.
Can't wait to get my hands on a Upad controller at a demo unit. I am curious how comfortable it'll feel in my hands. This system looks really promising. Nintendo haters will be in the small but vocal minority.
Awesome, THQ is one of my favorite publishers. Better than EA, Activision, Capcom, and Square-Enix.
"It has rabid fanboys."
Looking at your post, so does the Xbox360. Hypocrisy is hypocrisy.
Sony doesn't own BluRay, the BluRay Disk Association does, in which Sony is a member of. Other companies on the board of directors include LG, Sharp, Samsung, Apple, Dell, HP, etc.
I love Xbox360, I really do but I am not happy where it is at right now. MS needs to start investing in exclusives. Cause last I checked exclusives define a platform. I don't just want the same old 4 franchises either: Halo, Gears, Forza, and uhh, help me out here, I forgot the other one. Seriously, get your head out of your ass. Sony stepped up their game, why can't you.
Wow, cool. Wish Nintendo luck redeeming the core audience.
A platform IP similar to Crash Bandicoot and Jak, not a "Third-person survival horror action-adventure."
