Timed exclusive anything is such a god awful practice. Exclusives are fair game, but having something delayed indefinitely for another system is so dumb especially in cases where it's an established franchise being held back ex. ROTR.
Also applies to DLC and any other multiplatform content. No one should feel pride in their console being able to play a game 6-12 months before the other when that simply didn't need to happen in the first place.
You're not going to outsell consoles that have Call of Duty, Battlefield, Fallout, The Witcher, etc. Just isn't going to happen.
The Wii was an anomaly due to a period where motion controls seemed like the next big thing along with marketing directed towards everyone but the hardcore gamer + the low entry price in comparison to the 360 and PS3 at the time.
The Switch will not recreate that success.
That's pretty incredible that snapping was the biggest selling point for you
Lmao
OT: How about we just wait until the big reveal. These micro bursts of news about Scorpio or even the Neo/Pro before it don't tell me anything significant until there is straight up news from the horses mouth.
Don't forget NiOh and Halo Wars 2 next month as well. 2017 seems like a prime time year for sure.
Still can't stop playing it. I think it's the most addicting game I have ever played.
I do as well, I just hate how we have to install every game even if it's off the disc. I'd rather wait the extra minute for load times just to save hard drive space. That's one of the biggest quirks this generation imo.
@eagle21 Well the PS3 had games to back it up.
It's an RPG. Shepard is supposed to be role played by the player therfore he/she could be gay. Unless Bioware declared it's just a shooter with choice and detailed characters.
The game takes place just shy of 200 years from now. Being gay would be a lot more progressed socially versus now hopefully, so it's still very realistic.
Never understood why people have a problem with gay characters or the ability to pursue a gay relationship in the ga...
@WomBat she already had a girlfriend and that story arc in Left Behind was incredible.
It's not an "agenda", it's Naughty Dog's creative vision.
@naruga if that's true then why has literally every modern ND game received mass critical acclaim? TLOU being like the 2nd most awarded game in history.
It did. GTAV sold a stupid amount on it's first day and continues to sell well even now.
No there was supposed to be an actual Halo TV show on Starz. Nightfall launched on the Halo Channel as a precursor to Halo 5 for Spartan Locke.
Yeah if your intention is to make the game difficult, but fair then it should never hurt it's quality if it is a great game.
But there will probably be reviewers who suck at this game claiming it's unfairly hard when they simply can't adapt to the game's mechanics.
Always respected the Souls games even when I sucked at them, but after beating Bloodborne, a new found love for it came about.
The Wii U was sold out too and that thing is beyond irrelevant.
The Switch will be big at launch, but the fact of the matter is, all the games are on Playstation, Xbox, and PC. What incentive is there for developers making games on an underpowered gimmick?
Nintendo should have made something competitive like the N64 was.
Once you start an argument backed by blaming a specfic generation as a whole, it loses all merit.
I don't see why embracing games from any time period is such an issue. It's not like the team that built the backwards compatibility function on Xbox One are the ones tasked with game development. The simplicity of the BC program is just having the devs/pubs either say yes or no to their games.
Do you know how awesome it was being able to play Bad Com...
What the hell is this console or handheld or whatever it is? It fails to do both aspects in so many departments.
Everytime I read more about the Switch the worse it gets.
Nothing else needs to be said. Well said.
Bad Company 2 is simply one of the best FPS games of all time. I would buy a remaster for any price. After Battlefield 1 (which imo is the best since BC2), going to BC3 would be amazing.
Can't believe it's been 7 years since BC2 came out. Countless memories playing that and the Vietnam expansion.
Could fill a competitive console RTS niche though. I think that'd be cool.
Should have clarified meaning AAA games. Indies I think are fine since like you said have less resources and would gladly go with whoever comes to them first.
