I'll be ecstatic if they announce a new Bloodborne.
I remember my sister and I getting the GTA Double Pack (3 and Vice City) for the Xbox when I was only like 7. Never thought about doing any of it in real life lmao. It's just a parenting thing, not a game thing.
I had a lot of fun with the gameplay. Can't say the same about CoD. Doom's level design is top notch too.
Doom would like a word.
Not a fan of Destiny, but false. Halo 3, ODST, and Reach were all fantastic and aside from my personal gripes with Destiny, the gameplay is still top notch. FPS's have been Bungie's bread and butter since the 90s with Pathways Into Darkness and Marathon.
Pretty savage plan
It's literally not the consumers fault. It's the terrible release window EA decided to book the game. So many games cannibalized other games sales this year aside from like BF1 which did very well for itself commercially and critically. Publishers need to schedule launches in months not named October and November.
And don't pin the blame on a broad set of individuals when again, it isn't any consumers fault that we've been getting too many similar games...
And it shouldn't be something that is nostalgic. It should be standard.
I really enjoyed the Alpha test and I'm not huge on MOBA type games. The fact they are working for nothing is pure dedication and a very respectable work ethic.
Hoping the full game is great!
How do they downgrade a 7 year old game on more powerful hardware
Damn if it really sold less than Halo 5 when being on all platforms then that is really bad for the franchise. It does deserve it though. Call of Duty just isn't cool like it was from 2007-2011.
Just put the franchise on hiatus or go back to it's roots of WW2 to bring back a simplified foundation instead of this stupidly over the top crap.
I think the problem is that Titanfall is a relatively new IP and it's being sandwiched by two of the biggest in gaming that have been around for 13+ years.
The thing with your Doom argument is that Doom is a part of a franchise that is known for puting FPS games on the market and into the mainstream. It has seen success critically and commercially for years therefore it already has a pre-set fanbase.
Games like Battlefield, Halo, Doom, and or other we...
Respawn deserves so much better. After most of them changed the game back in 2007 with CoD 4, you'd think they'd be treated with a bit more respect and care.
You cannot pit a 2 year old IP versus two of the biggest in gaming with CoD and BF. A Q1 release would have faired much better for Titanfall 2.
Hopefully they part ways with EA and find a publisher who does them right.
Me too. Titanfall was the reason I got an Xbox One as early as I did. Despite content issues, it was a fantastic launch window game and when looking back at the early days of the XB1 I'll definitely remember Titanfall.
The game that quite literally set the trends for this generation of FPS's doesn't nearly get enough recognition or love.
Getting TF2 over the weekend.
Wanna bet it's the most played on PS4 too?
I think VR has proved better for gaming than Kinect tbh and I'm primarily an Xbox guy.
I haven't played a game in VR (I really want to try it) but the general consensus shows it has a market unlike Kinect where it got flooded with shovelware for years. I mean horror works perfectly for VR. What genre works well with Kinect that isn't a rhythm game? I have an XB1 Kinect and the only thing I've ever used it for was voice control.
Yeah I'd say RDR2 or Horizon for most anticipated
I feel bad for these guys. First they get screwed by Activision then by EA.
It sucks because Respawn is full of talent.
Everyone on here complains about the most trivial things back and forth.
I guarantee I myself will not be able to notice a distinguishable difference between checkerboard 4K or native 4K the same way I can't even notice the difference between 900p and 1080p unless someone tells me.
I feel like I'm one of the few on this site that finds resolution to be one of the least important things in my gaming experience. It's like politics where actual ...
It's hyped up every year and always under delivers aside from maybe a couple cool reveals like The Last of Us a few years back
