That's one game from last gen I missed out on that I really want to give a go. Hopefully it becomes BC!
I caved and got the Legacy edition when it was on sale for $60. I only downloaded CoD 4 and am never downloading IW.
CoD 4 is/was a very important game to me so dropping $60 on a revamped version was easy for me. That new garbage can stay in the queue.
More people are playing BF1 though and sticking with it per Xbox One most played charts where BF1 is #1 and IW is below Black Ops 3. A lot of people just wanted CoD 4 remastered.
I honestly really enjoyed the first two Crysis games but that's about it when concerned with Crytek's library.
Your comment will be marked as spam and frankly that doesn't combat the problem of constant article spamming with petty trivial nonsense. I personally have my gripes with N4G for general reasons most would agree with, but this type of thing is absolutely pathetic and makes an already toxic gaming community way more than it should be.
The fact you're singling out people over the Internet over things that literally don't matter is funny yet so pathetic. Please do ...
@peewee11016 badboyz edited his comment. He was asking why God of War IV isn't on there and Overload clarified it's only 2016 games.
Idk I feel like gaming, along with other mainstream mediums, have done well in portraying stories with the three things you want out of gaming.
If you took all three out of gaming in general, you wouldn't have games like Metal Gear, Halo, Mass Effect, The Witcher (having all 3 of those things), Souls games, and many others.
Sure, all 3 are controversial to talk about with people of varying beliefs, but they can a lot of the time be the backbone of a...
You mean like how there are also PS4 vs PS3 charts?
Whenever I see the Duke I just think of playing through the level Pillar of Autumn in Halo CE
Probably going to get a PS4 Pro for TLOU2 the same way I bought a PS3 for the original. I do not understand how Naughty Dog is this good. They continue to get better with each new IP they make.
As a longtime Xbox player primarily, this is a prime example as to why Sony keeps their position as the "king" in the console space.
The amount of emotions invoked watching TLOU2 trailer is something I haven't felt in so long. It's simply beautiful what Naughty Dog has created.
Jesus christ it actually happened. Officially the most important future release in my opinion. Jesus christ.
I support that endeavor.
I want a new Jet Set Radio, Slave Zero, Power Stone, Sonic Adventure, Gunvalkyrie, and Hydro Thunder.
Hell, would prefer if Sega magically gets a dumpload of money and creates a Dreamcast 2.
Very experimental era. Too sad it didn't really pay off in the end. Imagine how different the gaming landscape would be if the Dreamcast was a huge success?
Still cherish my Dreamcast from '99. It was the first console that I owned. I remember being 4 or 5 and begging my dad to buy one for Christmas after playing Sonic 3 (first game I ever played) knowing Sonic Adventure was a thing.
Honestly, with the amount of bad open world games that have come out the last few years, a great linear game sounds pretty sick now.
If the story is memorable and the gameplay stays fresh throughout, there is nothing wrong with a linear game.
The Last Guardian is my next PS4 purchase for sure
Game looks like some true art to me. Love these types of games. Definitely need more of them.
And now that they do, one of my friends who switched to PS4 primarily is coming back to Xbox. We used to run 3v3 scrims in Gears 2 with custom game variants years ago and can't wait to be able to do that again for old times sake.
Regardless of what the naysayers say about backward compatibility, it isn't anything other than a plus since it's a free feature that allows for more games. A thousand times better than a half assed attempt at digital game rentals that ...
@FunAndGun I'm a sucker because I used my money to buy a game I love? Okay
