I don't understand the market share percentages...
If Wii U has sold more than Xbox One thus far, shouldn't it have a higher percent market share?

The Wii U is a lot better than the wii if that helps.
But I can understand waiting until E3 to decide...Or just buy a cheap one a year or two down the road and play catch up with games that did interest you.
From your pic, you like the Deus Ex games right? The Wii U has the best (IMO) version of Deus Ex Human Revolution. It uses the gamepad amazingly well.

Nintendo already pays like $1.72 for every 3DS sold. They've lost possible millions due to Tomita Technologies suing them over the 3D camera. Which is sad because the 3D camera is rarely used. I think Nintendo came out with the 2DS because of this.

I heard they were suing because of the wii remote and wii remote plus controllers. Motion controllers. And the patent is so vague.

I always have low expectations for everything so I can end up getting wowed.
Be careful to not give yourself unrealistic expectations, and then when you get disappointed, you don't wanna be one of those people complaining about everything that wasn't there. Too many people are like that.
But with Zelda U showing up this year (most likely) I can't help hyping myself up...If they don't show it I will be so angry.

"Save the system" is different from "influece a system's fate"
Every good game influences the system's fate to some extent. Maybe the combination of the games were almost good enough, and when Mario Kart comes out, it's the game that pushes you over the tipping point and gets you to buy the system. That's a game that can influence a system's fate.

Shard of nightmare....it sounds a bit off for a zelda title. I like how it sounds dark, but it still sounds a bit dumb. It reminds me a lot of Mario and Luigi Dream Team, where you would smash dark shards or nightmare shards? Or whatever they were called in the dream world.
Though I think the E3 leak was completely fake, I hope it's a darker Zelda in production.
A new CEO wouldn't help at this point. First, you need to start training someone to become CEO. Then Iwata can step down after the Wii U. That way the transition will be smoother.

I think you're getting too many platformers. Maybe do Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Splinter Cell Blacklist. Those you can get for like 20 bucks on Amazon.
And replace NSMBU with Rayman Legends. Personally, I think Rayamn Legends is more fun than NSMBU.
I guess it's up to you though.
I also second Pikmin 3. Or Try Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Variety is cool.

Actually, the biggest difference in power was between the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The jump from Wii to Wii U was bigger than the jump from PS3 to PS4 or Xbox 360 to Xbox One, so Nintendo actually caught up a little bit.
Who cares about power? Just look at PS2 and Wii sales. Then look at a gaming PC. Video game consoles don't need a megaton of power, they just need great games.

It's like saying the PS2 is better than the PS3. Doesn't mean I don't like the PS3.
A new console right now would actually make devs angry. How many indie titles are developing on Wii u right now? How many third party developers are actually working on a wiiu title? If Nintendo drops the Wii u the very few third party studios that support the Wii u would get screwed. Take sonic boom for example...those guys have been working on sonic boom for 2 years...if Nintendo enters a new console they'll be pissed.
I don't think there's a clear pattern to the releases of the remakes:

emerald (gen 3 upgrade)
Generation 4:
diamond and pearl (gen 4 original)
platinum (gen 4 upgrade)
heart gold soul silver (gen 2 remake)
Generation 5:
Black and white (gen 5 original)
black 2 white 2 (gen 5 upgrade)
I think they should save it for E3! Or else it may take away from the excitement then...Or maybe it doesn't really matter since everyone knows it's coming.
