Microsoft wanted to get a photo op showing KB at their booth. No chance in HELL!
Imagine how that would've been circulated around the net.
Well played KB!
Microsoft pays with money.
Sony paid with cheezburgers.
"Microsoft did almost everything it needed to do." - Erik Brudvig
"I think Microsoft did a great job at this year's E3." - Charles Onyett
"The Microsoft Conference was the best I can remember." - Dave Clayman
"I love me a good Microsoft E3 press conference, and this year's event was no disappointment." - Ryan Geddes
Dammit I screwed it up! lol
Well you know the old saying: "Be careful what you wish for"
Well, here it is! xD
How stupid does MS think we are!? Oh wait nevermind...
A Wii console costs about the same as what the rumored MS web cam is going for. That won't bode well for the market they're trying to capture. Microsoft may have to sell Kinect at a loss for a long while. Man did they ever put themselves in a tough position.
Heheh you may be on to something.
I don't know why Sony doesn't just make their next PSP a cell phone. Then I would have no excuse not to have it on me wherever I go.
I can't speak for Yakuza 1 or 2 since I didn't play them but I have played both Shenmue's and Yakuza 3 and I stand by what I said earlier. You should give Y3 a chance, you'd be surprised.
I've been saying this for a while now. All a "journalist" has to do now-a-days is add a question mark at the end of a statement and all of a sudden it gives them license to say whatever they want. I think FOX "News" started this tactic and now you're seeing it everywhere. But then on the other hand, people love drama and this kind of practice gets hits so it never ends.
So you're saying Shenmue and Yakuza are polar opposites?
It's possible to like both.
Why does everything have to be like this? Always war.
Agreed. I've been playing Yakuza 3 and it totally reminds me of Shenmue. That's why I think all these people looking for another Shenmue should definitely check out Y3. Plus the finishing moves are hilarious!
That would be funny. Microsoft could include that in their EULA when you first plug it in.
Everything the author said I agree. Aside from the actual gameplay clips, the show was awful.
He brings up a good point. Game journalist seldom do any fact checking anymore. So often now they'll simply copy and paste a tweet or manipulate a quote to create a buzz and BAM, quick and dirty web hits.
I noticed a lot Dreamcast wishlists have been asking for a Shenmue remake. It was definitely a revolutionary game for its time but I'm not sure how it would be received today. Maybe only those who played it back then would pick it up for the nostalgia factor.
I say for those people, consider also trying out Yakuza 3. It has a lot of the same elements but throws in tons more with all the charms of Shenmue.
As for the list. Pretty solid choices.
Strasberg is the real thing, but you can't blame companies to rate him conservitely. Over time these things will even out.
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's all this is.
Smoke and mirrors confirmed.
