Microsoft needs to open a Japan-based studio and it is long overdue. If Itagaki is involved than even better.
The gaming community, as much as I personally enjoy it, is full of crap in so many ways. All too many clamber for hardcore games on Wii and then NEVER buy them when they come out. The opposite is true on PS3 and 360, where fans want more creative and independent work and then spend all their money on the latest shooter instead.
There is nothing wrong with buying any type of game, the only problem is sending deceiving messages developers and publishers alike. Our purchases ultim...
Midway's troubles sadden me. As one of the origianal great American game companies I can't help but wish the legacy would continue. It is a genuine tragedy that one of the major contributers to early gaming has been driven into the dust by selfish, corrupt leadership.
MK is a great series. It has experienced plenty of ups and downs, but as a whole the series is an icon of game development and history.
This is crying shame.
Nintendo's white clad janitors dress far better and are paid more. Those Sony and Microsoft janitors are a grumpy, fashionably poor lot.
This article has nothing to do with the Edge Review of Killzone 2.
Actually read the thing to see what the guy is saying. Its a good read, that is why I submitted it.
because I don't want the HHG show to get more hits.
to see another zombie map coming. It might be a small map-pack, but it sounds well done.
If a zombie map is included in a map pack. Frankly, I love zombie mode. The campaign was not standup, but Zombie mode was a Creative addition.
I'm glad this article lists some good things about them and why there is hope for them still. I'm looking forward to years of quality Midway content. CHeers!
because I agreed with its argument. Everyone gets annoyed at fanboys, but that is specifically why they keep the industry interesting. They visit sites, spend the most on consoles and games, leave comments, etc... Quite honestly, if all of that disappeared we would have a lot less to talk and read about.
Sega has been one of the Wii's best developers, ironic if you look back at the days of genesis and Snes. My how the world has changed.
World of Goo was awesome.
and great humor, a nice kick in the pants to desperate fanboys on both sides. May we learn to enjoy games, not brands.
Game on
and even though many of their games are horrible shovelware they did have a few big winners. Its cool to see the site's conclusions for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 as well.

That doesn't mean all of them are interested by any means, but many will be. I say that because the PS3, as the most expensive (overpriced?) system, is usually only purchased by serious gam...
but even i will admit that this "article" was as fan-boy biased as anything else on the web. This was a rant, which was acknowledged in the piece, but rants, regardless of good intention, do nothing but fan the flames of fanboyism.
Anyway, there really are some great PS3 exclusives coming this year...and i am thrilled.
Happy gaming.
as an owner of both HD systems, and playing both systems regularly, but I really do slightly prefer the PS3 to the 360. I can't help it. I love so much of what Microsoft has done: Netflix through my 360, cross game chat, installing games to my Hard Drive, etc...but I just prefer the PS3 in the end. The PS3 games I play regularly (Resistance 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank Future), for reasons not clear to me, bring me more joy than the 360 games I pla...
They have so many challenges ahead of them, but the gaming world would benefit if they do.
