Is there any kind of fluid emergent gameplay this time (like Skyrim, RDR, Shadow of Mordor) or is it still mostly instanced (pigeon for assassination requests, markers for this or that group of missions etc.)?
Surely there were robbers and couriers before, but I feel like previous games were pretty limited on this aspect of making the great mechanics and varied design merge into the open world.

I just asked it to see how far your logic of "I hate this terrible game, but have played it for 30, 40 hours (or much more)" would lead.

Have you played the raid? Which level were you at?
The places are somewhat easy to find, the problem are the triggers for the chest to appear. No deaths? No sacrifices? Time limit? No hobgoblin kills? No damage? DO RE MI FA FAFA DO RE DO RE RERE on oracles? Kill all oracles in the presentation phase?
The possibilities literally are literally infinite.

These are the guys that ruined D3's (Vanilla!) design to force people into the AH, which was a neverending river of money to them. They only fixed the game that they intentionally screwed when fooling the consumers wasn't giving them much money anymore.

Funny enough, lots of the best games this gen ARE indies... AAA games became incredibly predictable and derivative.
It annoyed me at first, but they are saving this gen so far.
