Don't listen to the very few crazy people that downplay Icebreaker. Just look at its impact. It is no doubt the best PVE sniper on the game. It does a ton of damage and this is what really matter.
Perk-wise, both have great ones, I'd call it a draw or a win for IB.
Get it when you can. Hopefully a nightfall strike blesses you.

Unless it has perfect and new hidden upgrades, I call it ascendant energy.
You should leave one of the five builders only for walls, which are the eternal endgame upgrade. This way you'd never have your storages full.
The only counter that drives me crazy is the laboratory (troop upgrading, one at a time). Everything else is ok to me if you have 4 or 5 builders.
To me, it is free to play done right. The game is incredibly balanced and has such a long term appeal.
About the delay for constructions, it's another place I see balanced. Usually it takes me days to get those millions of gold for the next building, so I have no problem with waiting for the builders to finish what they're doing.

As much as Kotak* are the masters of clickbaiting and BS, damn, no company comes even close to IGN when it comes to hyping a game.
Last year their preview finished saying that GTA was bigger than the generation leap. Now they start it by comparing it to the top TV series ever made.

TBH, I understand that they had to put it to calm down their enormous fear of mobile games (allowing the touch mechanics to be replicated in the PS4 for, say, Angry Birds), but it is mostly useless for AAA gaming and actually it usually comes as a bad or dumb interference on the gameplay...
To everyone above: do you realize you are mad because not every company (specifically Ubisoft) is not as technically skilled as one of the two most skilled devs in the known universe?
