If you are a Dead Space fan than it is indeed worth getting. Its alot more like the original game than the second part.
I agree with sdozzo that a few side missions feature the same recycled environments but the main story itself is variable the whole time and amazing moments happen in the game. The CO-Op gameplay and missions are much better so its worth a try even if you haven't played the past Dead Space games.
The game is actually good, don't know what the hell is wrong with reviewers these days.

You are very wrong with the memory bit.
DDR3 and GDDR are different things.

The GK104 is used in both Tesla K10 and GeForce GTX 690/680/670/660Ti.
The chip isn't built specifically for Compute purposes, its NVIDIA who would decide what purpose the chip should be optimized for.
GF110 Fermi architecture was used on both Tesla M2090 and GTX 580. Remind me if the GF110 was only good at Compute or gaming.

Core i7 has one advantage over Core i5. That's being a Hyper-threaded chip with four extra threads.
There are limited amount of games which utilize a full Quad core chip hence for games Core i7 are pretty much irrelevant. For other purposes, CAD, etc Core i7 or any 8 Core chip from AMD is recommended.
Even 32 GB of ram is not needed. A PC running a 64-bit OS with high res gaming would run fine with 8 GB of ram.
Intel's Haswell is beyond 10% improvement.
IPC improvement is 20% since its a Tock (complete new architecture built on the same 22nm process technology. IGP performance is 3 times over Ivy Bridge due to the introduction of GT3 level chips.
Broadwell is going to be Tick built on 14nm but it would be a die shrink of Haswell. Although IPC performance remains at a steady 10 - 15% with Broadwell but it would be the first true SOC (System-On-Chip).

@Imalwaysright We are talking about graphics superiority here in which Crysis 1 is a better game compared to FarCry 3.
They put in animals in the game which can be approached dynamically but left the key part of the jungle (Plants, Environment) static.
And yes, to you it may not matter but the dozens of comments above and below us prove that graphics and performance of any specific title may it be current gen or next gen is a point to ponder by gamers.
