who doesn't?
I need a next gen Mass Effect and i want it to be a new beginning set in the distant future after the event of Mass Effect 3.
Graphics wouldn't be an issue since Bioware is using DICE's Frostbite 3 to power their games.
Looks like the competition between NVIDIA's Maxwell, NVIDIA's GK110 and AMD's Hawaii GPU is gonna be intense.
Time would tell who turns out to be a true winner in terms of price, performance and efficiency.
With story missions added, i can't wait to get my hands on CnC anymore. Give it to me now!
Such a monster card!
@CEO to your second reply.
Mario, Zelda, Metroid? You a casual?
Gears? go enjoy the judgement of the series.
Forza/GT? Project Cars says hi.
DIABLO III - Seller of 14.5 Million Copies
ARMA III - The most realistic military simulator ever made.
Battlefield 4/ COD: Ghosts - PC does them best.
METRO Last Light/ CRYSIS 3 - Pinnacle of graphics, enjoy 23.4 FPS on your Xbox 360/PS3...
@Duplissi, sorry typo. I meant to say that the GTX 680 is faster than the Radeon HD 7970.
HD 7950's competitors are GTX 660 Ti and GTX 760.
Your PC can easily do 1440P/60 FPS with every up-coming UE4 based game.
@Slimeyboy UE4 is optimized, there's a reason the demo does 60 FPS on that PC with max details as shown in the Infiltrator demo. Even Samaritian (UE3) and Elemental (UE4) delivered 60 FPS on the same hardware.
A user running a Core i3 + HD 7800/GTX660 setup can easily cope with the graphics UE4 has to offer. PC's offer users to configure graphic settings.
Let's suppose the Infiltrator demo which was maxed out on the PC is using 4x MSAA or 8x MSAA....
The GeForce GTX 690 is the fastest but has some issues scaling with games due to its dual-GPU nature.
The GeForce GTX 680 is the best buy since it competes against the Radeon HD 7950.
The Radeon HD 8950 is an OEM only part (rebranded HD 7950), skip it unless it comes with the Never Settle Promotion by which its upto you whether you want the most performance or value.
There's no difference between the Radeon HD 7000 and HD 8000 series part...
@xKugo, you are such a fucking retard. That reply was directed towards windblowsagain and 90$ of the consoles boys who think they are getting DDR5 ram on the PS4.
You think im not aware of the fact that DDR4 isnt even available to consumers at the moment? You think i don't know DDR5 is a 2017 part.
DDR5 won't be available to anyone until 2017 when mass produced by Samsung and TSMC. GDDR5 (Graphics Dual Data Rate x5) has been available on PCs since 200...
If you don't need a high-end PC to run Black Ops and if the PS4 is a high-end PC then why does it looks best on the PC?
Because the PS4/Xbox One and all of these so called Next Gen Hype machines are useless. Their hardware which you consolists think came from the future is useless that devs consider developing a game primarily for the PC when the so-called PS4 offers so much ease of development to developers around the globe.
PorkChop, show me where it says specifically that 1080P/60 FPS on next gen consoles?
It doesn't, Next Gen games including Battlefield 4, SW:BF, Mirrors Edge, Dragon Age: Inquisition are also available on PC.
In case of Battlefield 4, 1080P is only capable on PC. Show me an officai statement by EA where they mention PS4/Xbox One getting 1080P resolution.
The one with the stupid and base less claim is you. You think if they mean 1080P/60 FP...
What a stupid and base less comparison. Battlefield 4 is coming on the PC too, compare that with the 720P limited next gen version.
But i heard devs say that PS4 is better than a high-end PC.
/s
and Battlefield 4 in 720P, so much for next gen!
And i love it when some console fan boy turns up like he knows everything about a PC and its architecture.
PC users have option to put anything they want on the OS. A gamers PC doesn't has half the apps you mentioned, it has either Steam or Origin. A PS/Xbox has their own online service which remains active almost every time when you play either offline or online.
PC has two sets of ram, one for the system and the other for graphics. Consoles doesn't,...
Back in the days, it was a hard time keeping up at 1080P with 8800GTX GPUs. Guess what? PC got Fermi/Kepler/GCN, etc.
Any mid-range GPU on the market currently can easily cope 1080P, i bet in a year's time when 4K monitors become cheaper and GPUs based on Maxwell and Volcanic Islands architecture arrive, 4K on the PC end would easily be made possible.
Plus, you are putting Crysis 3 in the equation. You must know that Crysis 3 along with Metro:LL are the m...
Go read something about the difference between GDDR5 and DDR5 then come back to replying me.
As for no bulky OS of PlayStation 4, tell me why won't Sony officially share the amount of memory reserved for the system and graphics lead? This is an official response from them:
We have no comment to make on the amount of memory reserved by the system or what it is used for.
Why can't they comment, first the pump tell people that the memory...
Wouldn't call it a tie, Value is definitely on AMD's side but as far as performance goes, AMD has nothing in their current lineup that competes against GK110.
