Yea its weird that they didn't want to release it, but that just sums up their current state of mind though (no excitebots for EU or Disaster for US).
I can't get past world 2 in LL, i hadn't played it till this gen.
Im slowly working my way through SMB3, first time in over a decade.
I assume this game will be difficult. Certainly longer than 5 hrs for me. (This coming from a SMW obsessive)
I don't know. In reference to that kids games survey from earlier in the week, WSR was more popular/wanted than NSMBW.
WSR was high amongst both sexes, rating 1st or 2nd in almost all categories.

This and Crystal Bearers
Well you could argue that both Nintendo and Sony have made that mistake already. It was costly.

They should have won 32 million.
Frigging idiots at the radio station.
Yep, in other news Apple said they failed with their IPod, they expected every human being on the planet to buy one.
Can i send Iwata some flowers?
Poor guy is really depressed. After the Tsunami success of both DS and Wii he must have really really high standards.
@Valey, FIX THE QUOTE in the article headline, just like the journalist on that site did.
Neglected to mention the survey had 4 Wii games as the kids most wanted games. Face it, i think Sony and MS are missing all these "casual gamers" right about now.
The Wii = Fridge, PSPGo = Herpes
What a troll.
@i3eyond, Wii Sports Resort was one of the top most wanted games. You can probably add HD graphics to your list of things kids don't care about.
Pretty much what theyve already been doing.
1. Steal game ideas from competitors and pretend they are original and better.
2. Undercut prices at all times, excluding internet access.
3. Outbid competitors for exclusives. (Nintendo are going to be interesting to watch regarding this)
That statement is flat out wrong. Nintendo have ALWAYS pushed tech boundries.
Do your research before you pretend you know what your talking about.
I believe it
They want to sell the game. How do you sell a game to a market driven by teenagers with a thirst for being treated as adults? You psychologically replace their self doubt with guns, sex and anything remotely resembling this narrow definition of maturity.
You won't have to wait too long for that fortunately. 360 and PS3 will get PLENTY of shovel ware once natal and dildo releases, i promise. :-)
@Shnazzyone, oh i read it. I just don't think its fair to call Galaxy a 60 level game when it isn't, thats my point.
What is wrong with you?
You don't pay less money for a low budget film, whats the difference?
C'mon, this is a joke right?
Its harder than SMB3 and you think you can finish this in 6 hours?
Complete it in 6 hrs? All secret levels included?
Not likely.
Look, Nintendo did what they did to survive. If you can't see that your blind and you probably paid way too much for a PS3.

Which business decision was the smartest, Nintendo's or Sony's?
Now that theyre rolling in it they will simply continue to make the next smart investment decision. Iwata knows what he is doing.
It will be a combination of price competitiveness and technology, and both of these are much more favorable today than they were 3 years ago.
