Someone didn't play Disaster Day of Crisis. That game is FULL of motion QTE.
Didn't anyone learn anything from The Grinder NOT BEING AN FPS for PS360?
And you're still expecting Conduit 2 to be on those consoles, despite its generic issues and "dodgy online", etc?
Ok
The real interesting lesson here is Patchers belief that a Wii needs 500k minimum to be a success on the Wii. Clearly hes pretty far off when you're talking about a small studio (like HVS or Suda).
Whats even more interesting is whos developing which version. Only the Wii version is being made by Headstrong Games.
The Ps3 version, which is the same one as the PS2, PSP and DS one, is being made by TT Fusion, who ever they are.
In my view, it says more about Natal development, and sales potential for kids games on 360, than Boom Blox sales on Wii.
Boom Blox after all got a sequel. How's that other Spielberg project working out?
Have you played Bit Trip Beat?
Don't tell me there isn't an audience for core gamers.
Games like Disaster DOC did this same kind of thing.
Having seperate game styles ultimately mixes it up and gives you much more variety.
This is really terrible. Why don't you people go and buy it?
GO AND BUY IT
No more f******ing excuses, go and buy the game. Thanks
-edit- its not so bad, the context of the statement i mean. Its that guys passion project, he moved to Paris to make the thing and im sure he wants it to be a success. Notice that he hasn't mentioned numbers. Notice that ALL the games he has project managed before were movie tie-ins (eg.X Men3). I would hesitate to guess a m...
And the black Wii's, well they just might swing some core gamers again.
MH3, Zelda and Metroid should do their job.
The only intelligent response.
Motion controls are extremely new. Your telling me there isn't a VAST difference between Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and Red Steel 2?
Bull***
reminds me of all of them actually
LOL, thats funny, your a funny guy.
Forgetting how EVERY SINGLE HD dev. game goes multiplatform, while Wii devs have only recently, like in the last month or two, decided to multiplatform.
Oh and they haven't MP every Wii game, not yet.
I think devs are stupid to think a game like this will sell on PS3/360 when BKNB and LBP were so under appreciated on those systems, but we'll see.
@bugenhagen15, Source Wikipedia and you only show your inability to properly source information.
Congratulations
@Champ21, its funny how most Wii gamers and Nintendo execs share the same attitude to you two groups.
If it wasn't Mario's success, you would complain about the Casual Wii Sports Series (which btw is original and prob. sold MORE than every casual game that will ever be produced by MS or Sony COMBINED).
Playstation is weak as hell, they will remain in third place and theres nothing they can do about it. As other people have mentioned, why does the slight the PS3 alo...
Well, i dont know what to say.
I want a Wii Plus
I just don't see why if theyre going to update the DS, and MS and Sony update their consoles, why not the Wii?
Whether its an attachment, that bumps output to 576P, or a new Wii (thats slightly bigger without excessive space for Backwards Com.) thats the same price as current model, why wouldn't they do it?
Not just kids. All those MW2 players, who finished the game in 3 hrs, will probably buy this.
Glad to see it do better than WF2.
If there are that many Wii consoles being sold this Christmas, selling NSMBW along side it is a given.
MW2 can't possibly have this same kind of bundle interest.
@SpoonyRedMage, exactly right about controls. Nobody can take that away from them. They have forced the hand on much bigger developers and have engineered "their own" standard thats been widely adopted.
All these bloody trolls. How much did COD MWR sell in Europe on the Wii?
Exactly
Fps sell much much better in the US, so i wouldn't cut and run so soon. Secondly, Wii titles take time, but none of you trolls would dare to mention this.
Otherwise, meh for a typical 3rd party slow burner in UK. If HOTD can do it other titles can.
