I have to say again that Cyberpunk 2077 is my most anticipated game of the next 5 years...or however long it takes them to get this out there. Really REALLY excited about it. CDProjekt Red is amazing.

This point exactly, it's the gaming "community" putting it's worst foot forward. It may be a very vocal minority, but it's that minority that is making the news. Not the guys out here just enjoying games and acting like normal human beings.

Who said it was acceptable? It's not acceptable in any way, but is it surprising? Absolutely not. The internet gives people anonymity and anonymity breeds assholes.
It's made with the Source engine, it's not going to have standout crazy graphics like Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3 or whatever, but it's going to be a lot of fun and I think that's WAY more important.

I've said this before, if they made a full fledged Attack on Titan game I want the 3D gear to be like web slinging in Spider-Man 2 and I want Titan fights to be like battles in Shadow of the Colossus. It would be awesome.

Yup, that's why you still have to pay $30 for GTA IV Complete package 5 years after it's release. Because it made it to the bargain bin two weeks after it release. You could just say you're poor and/or don't have a job and people would be more willing to sympathize with you. But stating that it will be in the bargain bin in two weeks is both false and makes you look like a moron.

I'm a Gamestop employee and even my co-workers and I think this is SUPER shady. Both are fantastic games but I would buy them somewhere else. The bullshit Gamestop is pulling really shouldn't be tolerated by fans of video games.
