Forza Horizon 3 is the first mention of some sort of sales data for software since Halo 5's launch as far as I remember.
You guys are hilarious. Consoles don't need this, they already have it. This has nothing to do with anything you guys are going on about.
No, I said "fading" and under performing", not failing. In a way I would say Gears 4 was a failure for it's expectations. They bought the IP from Epic, gave it a beta, gave it a huge marketing budget, cancelled a game and founded a new studio. They definitely expected more out of the IP.
Did you read the article and link provided?
The story posted to N4G is based on the link I provided, they obviously didn't see the update to the original rumor.
"It's a console that plays pc games. And windows 10 pc's get to play console games. Not too hard to comprehend.
Windows is Xbox is Pc. One big happy family. lol"
You guys must not have read the update from that rumor.

Did you not see the link I posted below of ZhugeEX repeating PS4's PR statement involving software?
It's up for the holidays, quite massively. The Wii U and Xbox One are the ones that under performed and brought it all down. The PS4 and 3DS sell lots of games.
They would rather their fan base use their imagination to pretend everything is going well.
I have heard people suggest Gears 4 is being played more than Uncharted 4 online, Halo 5 has sold over 10M and the Xbox has sold 30M.
It is generally people that can't let go of the fact that Xbox doesn't have control of really any market anymore (unlike last gen), gaming has become more of a worldwide thing in the last 5-10 years and new gamers don't c...
A small vocal group of people on the internet think Forza Motorsport is "undeniably better", but it doesn't show up on charts after 6 iterations. It's not like this is one game people didn't get, they have had 6 iterations and the spin-off series seems to be selling better than the main series.
It's clear as day people who actually BUY racing games don't agree.
That one that always wins in the racing community. Gran Turismo. Microsoft would kill for the Gran Turismo IP and trade it for the Forza IP in a heartbeat. PlayStation wouldn't make that trade.
17M people (at minimum) bought Gran Turismo between 5 and 6.

14M people have played...
Are we forgetting this is studio that produced Uncharted and Last Of Us as new IP's in the same generation, last generation?
They'll move on and make something else that is amazing.
@Ravenor
Check the links in my post above.
PlayStation software was up during the holidays, worldwide of course. The world (not just NA/UK) is gaming more than people realize.
Software has been good for PS4 as well this holiday.

Last year for a reference point.

The PS4 is just getting lumped in with everyone else, who is under performing.
The PS4 has sold 53M and 6.2M during the holidays.
PlayStation is doing well.
"Forza Horizon 3 became the best-selling, highest-rated racing game in 2016 and the biggest Forza launch to date. The Forza franchise continues to grow and has now seen well over 14 million players on Xbox One and Windows 10."
(Some what of a mention of sales.)
Also, this means FH3 is over a million, the biggest launch for Forza before was Forza 5
Forza 5 fastest-selling racing game in Xbox history

Did you even read that? Lol. It was updated yesterday.
"Update: I've removed some speculation about Game Mode helping titles like Battlefield 1 achieve a higher resolution on Xbox One. "Game Mode" is specifically a feature for Universal Windows Platform game development for games in the Windows 10 ecosystem, and shouldn't be seen as a "secret sauce" giving the Xbox One a performance boost."
@kribwalker
I'm bringing press releases and your giving a forum post (from 343) that's not even official and your imagination.
"Uncharted 4 did great sales selling 2.5 units as a stand alone, however the pack in sales with PS4 slim selling 6.2 million through holiday helped bring sales to 8.7 million."
"Uncharted 4 First Week Sales Surpass 2.7 Million"

No, you're just wrong.
"Uncharted 4 First Week Sales Surpass 2.7 Million"
http://blog.us.playstation....
It sold 2.7M in one week, that was around 7 months ago......
No, you didn't. You looked on the PS Store and Xbox Marketplace (most popular section) I showed MS's own XBL activity release.
It's amazing you guys think a game that people won't even announce the sales for is being played as much as a game that sold almost 9M copies, especially with all the bundles sold in NA recently.
